I’m looking to order some custom Disney T-shirt’s for our family and grandparents to wear on our upcoming trip. Would anyone happen to have suggestions or a company they ordered from that was good?

ETSY does amazing custom designs! Just search what character you want or even search "custom Disney shirts," and you'll come up with a whole host of options/ideas. I used "Mountain Thread Studio" on Etsy and was really pleased. :geek: Their sizing does run small, though, so order up!

I used the Shop Disney website and ordered personalized shirts for my family on our last trip. I am actually wearing my shirt in my avatar picture! You can find options for personalized items under the Vacation Essentials tab.

I don't have any recommendations, but a word of caution: Just be very careful who you purchase from. Research them, check them out, whatever you need to do.
Why? Our 50th anniversary is this year, and I ordered special 50th anniversary tshirts for us, to be finished a week before we left in March. I communicated via email and specifically ordered white tshirts with fancy script stating something like this: Celebrating our 50th anniversary" above and below a Disney anniversary decal (in color). I was assured this was what I would get, no problem.
When I went to pick them up a few days before our trip (they were a little late), They had huge 3 to 4 inch block letters that ran across the tshirts. There was no Disney decal at all. I was so disappointed, and had already paid for them.
This was a local business person, and I wanted to give a local business support. I didnt' look at them til I got home.
I thought about taking them back, slamming them down on the counter, and demanding my money back. But, I was so steamed that I didn't trust myself. It was too late to get other tshirts. When I calmed down, I just let it go. Lesson learned! I probably should have demanded the money back, but I just wanted to forget it and go to WDW without being upset. I do let everyone in our town know about it and to never go there if they wanted a good product.
So, just a word of caution when you order.
Checking on this site is a good thing, and hopefully you will get good advice, but just check it out!

We always try shopping local to help out the business owners where we live. A mess up on a 50th anniv. order hurts but you should have let the business owner know that there was a mistake made with the order and then given them a chance to refund your money or do smething else to satisfy you. Errors can be made with orders and unless they were told there was a mistake, they cant make it right. Because they made an error with your order doesnt mean they dont do good work. To slander a business without giving them a chance to fix a problem or make up for a mistake is poor on your part.

I forgot to mention that I did contact the person who did this, via email, the only way she would communicate. I wanted to call her and talk with her so there would be no mixup, but she said she only communicated via email, no phone calls or in person. THAT should have been a big red flag right there. So, I emailed her and told her what she did was not what I had ordered, and it was all documented on email that I saved, every last lie she told. She just sent a "routine", so sorry blah blah blah...............no offer of refund or anything. If it had gone to court, I would have had all the documentation of her stating she would do it as I explained previously. It's not slander if it is the truth. So everyone I know knows what went on. I kept the shirt to show them. We are going again in December and now I am leery of anyone making a tshirt. It just makes me angry all over again. and like I said, I don't care about a refund or redo by her.

I just got some great ones on Etsy.

I really wanted V-necks for the women and round necks for the men, so I asked if the seller would do that even though only round necks were depicted in the picture, and he was happy to do so. The shirts came out great!

You can go to the mall and there may be a kiosk with a hot iron to put the ink on a custom shirt. I bought one once and it cost about $20.

For our last trip, I bought some matching iron-ons on ebay and some inexpensive teeshirts at Michael's and did it myself. It was a pain in the derriere and took forever and they came out acceptable but not great. I'll never do that again.

I make my own shirts using artwork i have drawn.
I will either hand draw and paint it directly onto a shirt, or scan the original art and then have a shirt made through a trusted printing company.
They are always a big hit with Cast that i meet in my travels, and each trip usually means making a new shirt to wear.

Here are a few examples of some of the shirts i have done over the years -
