Current WDW Attendance?

It's finally almost here! On Friday we leave for our much needed vacation to WDW!
:sohappy:
It's been a very rough year for my son - he has autism and was recently pulled from his school placement, and is now home with me while we look for a school for him - so we're definitely in need of a little magic!
My question is: Can anyone who's visited this week or any CMs report as to current attendance levels? I've been reading conflicting reports; first saying that it's very low for this time of year, and then that parks are full with people wanting a break from the stress of what's going on in the world. Has there been any noticeable decrease in visitors from overseas? We typically go at this time of year and often meet many people from the UK and Canada. At least super motivated Canadians can drive if they choose! (BTW, we're flying out of JFK and will stay at All-Star Movies for 9 days.)
Thanks in advance for any info!

We went to Epcot this weekend and it was pratically empty. We did have a cold front come through and that could have been part of it. I do not know about the other parks.

See you in the parks - we leave in 7 days.
We always go around this time of year & to be honest I'm expecting lighter crowds -
Easter is late,
Fears of flying after 9/11 still around,
And, the conflict in Middle East
Save me a good place for the MK parade !!!!

My family just got back from a five-day trip to Disney last week (3/24-3/28). We went to all four parks and saw varying attendance. We went to Magic Kingdom on Monday and it was extremely crowded--long waits for pretty much everything and stepping on people all over the place. The bright spot was that the posted Internet hours said the park would close at 7:00 and when we got there in the morning they had extended it to 8:00. Then while we were there during the day, they ended up deciding to leave it open until 9:00. We did Epcot on Tuesday and there were still pretty long waits for rides like Test Track, but Epcot just never feels very crowded to me (even when it is) because it's so big and open. MGM on Wednesday was extremely crowded again--not as bad as Magic Kingdom was but still pretty full with people. Animal Kingdom wasn't very crowded on Thursday, but we had thunder storms all day and I think that kept some people away. Friday we park hopped and parks were busy, but not unbearable.

I did notice that there weren't as many overseas visitors as I'm used to seeing.

I just got back from wdw about 3 days ago and o man was it crowded. I didn't believe it at first because I was expecting low levels due to war, but when i got back to school in Pittsburgh I watched the news and they said WDW was the highest attended resort area in the world for the month of March. That got me a little excited. Though it was crowded last week I doubt it will be these next couple of weeks because of the end of spring break. Just wait for easter to pick up again. I hope you have tons of fun!!!

See you there! You actually MIGHT see us, because we usually go through the Fast Pass lanes or handicapped entrances because of my son's disABILITY. So if you see a short blonde chick with an adorable, quirky 10-year-old, that's us!

Thanks everyone for the feedback! I'm hoping that the crowds won't be too crazy since it's the inbetween-spring-break-but -before-Easter time. On the other hand, I'll be happy for Disney if crowds are steady despite the economy.

Have fun to those of your who are going too, and happy Disney dreaming to the rest of you!
