It has been well over 2 years since Festival of Fantasy returned to Magic Kingdom. When it returned, it came with myriad of cutbacks, including the removal of the Brave unit and tick tock the croc float along with the opening swan Dancers and a number of other performers. "Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah" and "When I see an Elephant fly" was removed from the ending music. Quite poorly I might add they simply muted the vocals, you can literally still here the melodies in the backing. And it seems there's no reason to invest in a new Daytime parade considering Starlight coming next year. Is there any hope for this parade? Will they ever bring it back to it's former glory. What's stopping them? Cause at this point I think it might be time to put it out of its misery if they're not going to even try. Every other parade that's come back has had its full cast and floats. Please someone fix this parade.

While it will be great to have a nighttime parade back all the other parades, meaning FoF, BTY and OUACT, need some love. A FoF replacement probably isn’t in the cards for awhile but at the very least they should restore it to its original form and re-record the finale music.

I think I said this in the Starlight thread but here's what I think they should do. Bring in the all the old floats and being back the old performers. Add in the Beauty and the Beast float from dreaming up since they're already getting floats from that parade anyway for Starlight. You can easily replace Beauty and the Beast on the first float with anyone else and change out the music, while changing out that music I would fix it in end. I think that's how you fix this parade.

I completely agree, unfortunately it seems like management doesn't agree. It seems like they think a nighttime parade is a bigger issue, which I also agree with I just think we need a new daytime parade too.

Magic Kingdom NEEDS 2 Parades(day and night)! There is no excuse to not 'produce' a daytime parade out of all the floats they have in storage...no fixing, no money spent. JUST BRING BACK A DAYTIME PARADE! STOP BEING CHEAP A**ES!

Exactly, they need to fix the current parade while adding Starlight, FoF shouldn't be rotting away while Starlight comes along.

Some of the most complex solutions are simple to keep guests happy! We need to start holding Disney accountable for everything that has a simple solution! Right now, a Disney vacation, even staying off property, is out of reach fro most Americans! Now that's sad!

I agree 100%. They ruined the whole parade with their cutbacks. They also did the same thing with the Xmas parade. Compare the Xmas parade in 2017 and the current one and you will see the difference. They are never afraid to raise prices but they don’t spend the money to make things right.

That parades already 10 years old I can’t believe it. I’ve never cared for daytime parades. For my money they can cut that and use the budget to bring back Jammin Jungle or the Pixar parade. Especially when the nighttime parade comes along.

Interesting they re recorded Christmastimes entire soundtrack but they won’t fix FoFs finale music. Goes to show they Can do it if they want to.

Disney has disappointed me with the Christmas Day Parade...the LIVE version was sooo much better. Now everything is pre-tapped months in advance and the parade consists of blocking MSUSA off and just dropping in the floats, we never really get to watch the bands, Characters, etc! I stopped watching years ago. All it is is a BIG INFOMERCIAL for Disney which sucks!
