We will be down in Orlando in 16 days, we will be arriving by the auto train, but be driving back to New Jersey. Knowing that gas prices will be different by the time we get there, but was wondering what the current prices are at Hess, and at stations off proberty? Thanks in advance

They have a really cool tool where you enter your route and your car's mileage, and it'll show the best gas prices along the route at the points where you would need to stop for gas. Best to use it one or two days before you leave to get most recent prices.

We took the auto train back in April.... Loved it! We did get a "bedroom" which made things more comfortable. Also have you though about this. The train drops you off in Sanford. When you exit the train station there is four lane road that has a 7-11, a BJs, and some other stuff. Gas is probably cheaper there and you about a 20:animwink: minute drive from Orlando. I-4 is right there can't miss it!

The Hess station just outside MK's parking lot was $2.44 on Sunday, but that's probably not the best place to fill up!
Actually, that Hess is very fairly priced. We've seen it cheaper at that station right on Disney property than in Tampa when we left in the morning for our drive out.

When Exxon/Mobile lost their contract for on-property gas and Hess took over, the prices became not only comparable, but often times cheaper than other areas just outside Disney property.
