Crystal Palace

What a fantastic place to eat (buffet). I have only tried the dinner buffet, but it is EXCELLENT. The place is beautiful, the music goes great with it, the "parade" and the characters are awesome, and the food is great! I have met some of the nicest waiters and waitresses there.

If you have yet to go there, I highly recommend stopping in.

PS - Eat the pork.

We ate there for the first time on our last trip and we were pretty impressed. I swear my mom hates every restaurant on property, but she loved this place. She tried to make more PS's, but as expected, they were all booked up. We found lots of good places to eat this time around, including the Crystal Palace.

is it so? It looks really nice though. I don't suppose you get a good view of the parades or Wishes there do you? even on a window seat?

Now I am not sure on the exact price of the buffet, but I really don't think it is that bad. Over $10 a person, under $20. DEFINETLY worth it though!

Inside the palace the walls are basically windows. It is a good view as long as people don't stand up outside the window, which they will do. You can't hear anything from inside the Palace anyways. If you go and stand on the outside it on the ledge area, you'll get a very good view of WIshes. As far as the parade, I am not sure.

EDIT: Found this for the prices on the official website.

Meals Served:
Dinner, Lunch, Breakfast: Buffet, $$ ($15-$25 per person)

tigsmom, there are some dishes that are missing from that menu. It has more than what was listed there.

The menu is subject to change (it even says that at the begining of the menu) ... thats what was there that day. From what I understand some dishes are rotated in and out. *shrugs*

Either way, I can't wait to try it.

We paid like 22 a person for dinner. Its a lot of fun though! We got a window seat and we were able to view Spectro from our seats. It isnt exactly a front row seat or anything, but it was definetely visable.

On a sidenote, my mom was very impressed with the Flan that they had there. We are very picky about our flan, and we have NEVER tried a restaurant made Flan that tasted good. This was the exception. The Tiramisu was also great :slurp: :slurp:.

FANTASTIC FLAN. I am Cuban and I can safely say it is VERY good. I love all Disney resturants, but this one is by far my favorite.

I guess I started the topic solely to promote it :)

PS - Do me a favor. If you liked the food, go up to the Chef's and compliment them. I did it to the "Head Chef" or something, and she thanked me with a huge smile. She appreciated it very much and she said that not many people have done this. Because of this, she made me a special dish on the side which was unbealivable. It made my day and more importantly hers. Talk about an awesome CM.

We ate at the Crystal Palace for breakfast during our last trip. We did it for 2 reasons: 1. We wanted to get into MK early, so we could take a bunch of pictures w/o the crowds; 2. Our children love Winnie the Pooh.

I just didn't realize how much we would enjoy the atmosphere. We had a great time and our children had a blast. We will be eating there again on our next trip. It was very tempting to join the parade during breakfast.

We're gonna go to the Crystal Palace for the character breakfast. Is the breakfast food any good or is it just an average breakfast buffet (or even worse, like Ohana)? Even if the food isn't good, I'm a 12 year old Pooh Piglett fan (and proud of it), so I'll still enjoy it.

We went there several years ago for dinner and had lots of fun, but this is the first time we'll have breakfast there.

While I can't compare the Crystal Palace to Ohana's (since we have never eaten @ Ohana's), the breakfast is excellent at the Crystal Palace. But I think the environment is even better.

We would recommend this breakfast to any Disney fan. We had a great time.

We've had lunch there several times and we always have a great time. The food is fantastic and the kids (including us) love seeing Pooh & Friends. The Prime Rib was very tasty :slurp: and so was the garlic roasted chicken.

LOL. Glad you agree! My family is Honduran, so its been impossible to find a Flan that meets our standards. Jaymatal have you tried Bongos?

I thought Ohanas was fun, especially since they had some of the original characters. Foodwise, I thought CP was better, but I guess its unfair to compare the breakfast to dinner. The chicken was great, and my family loved the prime rib as well. I would highly recommend the dinner though. Next time Ill have to tell my mom to make a PS before the park opens. I never even thought about the great Photo ops!!

Yes I have. I think it is a great resturant. I love the atmosphere and the music that is played. The tables on the 2nd floor that are "inside" the walls is a very cool table to sit at. I'm assuming you feel the same way about the place, so that is always great to hear. I have heard that Gloria E. eats there every once in awhile, I wish that I can run into her :)

And Piglet kept trying to stop my husband from eating bacon

hahahahahaha :) That is great. Ingenuity on behalf of the CM, that is awesome.

Hey all, I have eaten dinner and breakfast at the Crystal Palace. Both are outstanding and I would eat there again happily at any point. I have also eaten Dinner at Chef Mickey's which I found to be delightful as well. Definitely worth checking out as well. Belle
