I think that them doing it in Jan &/or Feb. would be the best decision only because the holiday crowds will be done and it will be before Spring Break and I think this would be the best timing for it to be done.

Sounds like a refub along the lines of what other Main Street buildings have got.

Wouldn't be surprised if they decided to keep the place open during rehab like Chef Mickey's. I doubt management wants to loose revenue from a popular venue like this for two whole months.

Let's just hope they also refurb the quality of the food...:)

I disagree... I have always loved CP and loved the food.. I like how they only bring out small portions so you do not have 1000 people using the same spoon putting food on their plate... Buffets freak me out in general.. But Disney is the only place I will eat one... just my thoughts

I like CP, but find it a little hot in the room for summer. Still, it is bright, shadow free and good for pictures. I would like to see this buffet get a little more English-Themed. Variety is good, and given Pooh is a British story, it would make sense.

I'm hoping they'll keep it open through the refurb...We're going in Feb and this one is on my list. We've never done CP...

Maybe they will bring characters back to LTT while CP is under refurb

I would hope so. MK is already lacking in dining. Maybe they would open the Tommorowland Noodle Terrace during this time? Or El Pirata y el Perico? Not the same to take away a buffet and replace it with a CS, but better than nothing.

We love CP, especially their breakfast. I can't believe how well things are kept up at Disney. I know people complain about refurbs, but if you had that many people walk thru your livingroom in one year, you would need new carpet, at least. Also, anyone else find it ironic that the only time Piglet is out at CP is when there is bacon and breakfast sausages on the buffet.

The last time CP was closed for a long time they did the character breakfast at Tony's - served family style and was one of the best character dining experiences we've ever had. Nothing has compared to it - and that was back in 2002.
