So they're finally doing a Roller Coaster for Crush, eh? First time I saw that scene I thought "THAT SHOULD TOTALLY BE A ROLLER COASTER!" Now, why does Paris get it?

Well, the Nemo-based attractions at WDW & DLR are all upgrades of old attractions, so they had to maintain the same basic layout. Whereas Crush at DLRP is in a whole new building. So when faced with the decision of what kind of ride would be best for it, they turned to the customer surveys and it appeared that europeans are keen for thrill rides.

So basically they turned the family movie into an hybrid darkride/roller coaster ride for the whole family: a spinning coaster with no inversion.

Bless Filmparade... DLP certainly allows more access behind the scenes than WDW does. Thanks for the link. Me thinks I`ll have to get a few screen caps of the vid :)

Actually -- clam mobile and all, it looks a lot like Premievel Whirl at Disney's Animal Kingdom, only indoors.

Expect LONG waits for this ride -- it is very slow loading.

Well imagine the Seas with Nemo and Friends mixed with Primevil Whirl and you have a sense of this new attraction. But this, coupled with new trees, the Cars attraction, more meet and greets, proper sets, and Tower of Terror means the studios will be even better than before.

Also, the TV Studios tour is rumoured to be getting the Stitch Encounter attraction from Hong Kong.

It is truly a wonderful move forward. Now if we can get a highly themed tableservice restaurant and an AA ladened attraction, I'd be a very happy camper.

I'm pretty sure it's like Primevil Whirl at Animal Kingdom. It wouldn't surprise me if it follows the same basic track layout, much like how Primevil Whirl resembles Mullhullond Madness in DCA, and how the Indiana Jones Adventure has the basic layout of DINOSAUR.

But, if it is anything like Primevil Whirl, there would be two sides, and the coaster cars are constantly moving (they actually don't fully stop at the station) so it won't be that long of a wait. :)

Only one track config for WDS.
