Crowds during Easter week

I promised my daughter I would take her anywhere she wanted to go for her senior spring break. At first we looked at cruises, but they jack the prices so high because of spring break - we changed our minds and decided to head to the beach for a week of R&R.

That all changed when I got the email this morning (the one with the $500.00 free gift card). So now my DD has chosen to go to Disney the week leading up to Easter Sunday (we will actually head home on Easter Sunday)

How bad are the crowds?

I would kind of agree. BUT you have a grown child. If you were going with a toddler, I'd say don't expect to see much of the parks. You may have a few long waits, but I'm sure you will still have a great time!

We were there last year from the Thursday before Easter until the Tuesday after Easter. It was packed, crowded, we saw almost nothing....... and we loved it so much we couldn't wait to go back! :)

There's another thread on here a couple pages back with some info on Easter time crowds.

I have been three times now for spring break with teens and it is very crowded BUT it is managable. The hours are ususally extended and when the little ones clear out to go to bed it does ease up. When you travel to WDW with teens it is easy tho, you can go back to the resort should you tire of the crowds and noise , relax, read a book, watch tv, and know that your kids are fine and safely coming home on WDW transportation. I had no worries while there. Go and have fun and don't worry about the crowds.

We've done Disney four times at Easter - quite honestly the crowds are very managable (suppose its what you're used to). With proper planning, good use of Fast Pass and booking your ADRs in advance its no problem whatsoever.
Crowds get heavier the nearer to Easter Sunday you get :animwink:

Needless to say, I will avoid MK like the plague on Saturday and Sunday!!

Thanks to all who responded! Will definately heed your advice Cptn Hook and make my ADR's now!! Although the ones my daughter requested so far have me scratching my head (ie - Garden Grille.........um, okay).
