Cross-Training as a CP

Speaking of picking of shifts, I picked one up for Oct. 4th (for the special event thing). It is with the Haunted Mansion costume. I'm really excited. This may be my only time to get to wear that costume.

No way, me too. I seriously have been camping that thing for days waiting for HM to come up. When I saw it pop up late late last night I about crapped my pants and signed up in an instant. I, too, just want to don that costume for those 3 hours and get my picture in it. I'm so excited to get to wear it! :sohappy: Maybe I'll see you there! Look for Joseph or Joey (dunno if new nametags will be out by then).

Back on topic, I asked my manager about cross-training today and he let me know he'd leave a message on the training manager's voicemail to let her know I'm interested. Hope I can get there!

I picked up a shift too, in the Jungle Cruise costume. There are SOOOOOOOOO many. Anyone heard what the pay rate for this event is going to be? I'm assuming as of now it's the 'events' pay-rate (sucks, the OT rate is WAY less than my regular straight time rate, but hey, it's fun and I get to make a few extra bucks).

Wow, I didn't know about that press event. Too bad that I can't do that shift, I start at 7:30 every day (including Wed.).

Unfortunately they don't do cross training for CPs. You only work in one area. Unless, of course they are offering training, like for lifeguards. I believe anyone can do that.

Ok glad I found this- I've looked on EHH a bazillion times to find parade shifts but I don't know if i'm just doing it wrong or what because I NEVER find them!! almost always my search comes up with absolutely nothing. What am I doing wrong?! i totally want to do this just because it looks like fun entertaining all the kids before... that's such a good idea on disney's part- they don't do that at disneyland!

get up early on sunday morning to find PAC shifts...they go quickly!!
