When will Disney make an Epcot Polo Shirt? I want a dri fit polo with either the Epcot symbol or SE with the text Epcot below it, is it too hard?

I did get a shirt exactly like I described for the Contemporary Resort with that hotels sweet logo this trip but that was it. Couldn’t find the blue 50th polos either. Seems like I’m not the only one who likes that style of shirt…
If they made and sold one of those Epcot polos, I would buy one in a heartbeat. I too wanted one of the 50th Nike polos but I haven’t been able to find one. I wanted to like the new Epcot merchandise that they are selling but it is too gaudy for me.

It is unfortunate that they have homogenized all their retail in the parks... The big success of the Potterverse was the unique shops and merchandise... I was hopeful when they opened Memento Mori, but that seemed to be an anomaly... I think they would sell more goods and more expensive goods if they would create destination shops... themed and more specific. Like things used to be when the park opened. Let people go to World Of Disney to get things they might have missed in the parks, but don't homogenize all the retail...

Only a few people online (and in this thread) have actually noticed there's a completely unique loop in Creations...and it sounds solid.

Hopefully someone does a proper recording of it. Or better, the company finally releases in park music from things other then shows.

Edit: This got me thinking. They did a custom loop for Creations but a generic loop for the entrance.

What do you mean by a "custom loop"? If they're using Nations, it's not new music.

The 'generic loop' currently for Epcot is a custom/curated playlist, but, also not newly composed.

Bobby Iger was totally BFFs with Steve Jobs. Like for real. They were even going to get friendship bracelets.
Unless I misunderstand, that accounts for the Apple aesthetic, but Creations and the Disney Springs store are as reminiscent of Circuit City or Best Buy as they are of Apple.

If by "reminiscent" you mean "has modern but somewhat generic point-of-sale displays", then sure. There's literally nothing else about the structure that looks like a Circuit City, though.
I mean - huge, open, undifferentiated space full of identical racks, stands, and spinners? In the case of Springs, a vague industrial warehouse "theming" - or lack of it? Creations is basically the offspring of an Apple Store and a Best Buy.

Having never bothered to look at the Springs store, you could be right on that front. That aside, I fail to see how Creations looks like a warehouse or how large, open space with unified display fabrication automatically warrants a comparison to the lowest of the low end with Circuit City.

I have the Millennnium Celebration and Tapestry of Dreams CDs and it doesn't match those. What do you have?

Def agree 100% I remember when I was in my late teens there was a high end clothing shop at Hollywood Studios that wasn't just t-shirts and hoodies. Years later when I returned I was sad to see that all merch shops were basically the same now.

Being inside Creations, it does not look nor feel like a Circuit City or Best Buy or Walmart or etc., - it's bright, open, airy, detailed ceiling, colorful yet not garish. It does not have a warehouse feel at all as you are surrounded by large windows on just about all sides.

It felt pretty big too.

Outside of the merch issue, it's a very nice store. The name even grew on me while we were there, but for some reason my tripmates kept calling it "Sessions". :D

That whole front part of Hollywood Studios was one of the best themed areas Disney has ever built IMO, from the facade architecture on down.

It's probably gone downhill as much or more than anything in WDW compared to what it once was.

I would agree and I bout many dress shirts, expensive polos and ties there over the years...Now it is just the same old crap....
So while they are selling $20 T shirts, I and many others were buying $75 shirts and $50 ties... It was nice to know there were a few shops back then that handled higher end merchandise.
The recent years have really had affected my spending habits in the parks.
