Create Your Own Figment Now at Imageworks

So I went to Imagination today just for kicks and came across a new and unpublicized surprise: many of the walls in the Imageworks were down. The old computer screens were uncovered, but they were being used for something new and different: create your own Figment. You essentially from a group of parts build your own dragon and can e-mail it to yourself.

It's not the biggest step forward, but it's something in the otherwise empty hole formally known as the Imageworks.

Actually it opened around the end of January while I was out there...And believe me..It's very pathetic..ImageWorks has died..nay Imagination is dead..All my sparks are gone.

Dangit...you got my hopes up. I thought the "CYOF" was a stuffed-animal thing like build a bear! THAT would be epic!

Its sad that a person could walk into EPCOT in 1982 and find a better Imageworks than they can in 2011. How much worse does it have to get before they fix the pavilion? How many more insults will the fans have to endure?

I know it's sad, but the finding a better Imageworks in 1982 than in 2011 is pretty funny .

I'm still optimistic that this is all temporary until a big Imagination refurb comes. If any insider wants to chime in and give me a little more hope, I'd appreciate it... :D

Until someone volunteers to foot the bill, the money is tied up elsewhere. With no sponsor, the pavilion will simply languish and be burned in effigy by people who remember a better time at the imagination pavilion.
