I know this has been discussed to death, and many of you feel that its the only way to maintain the magic..... BUT....
Most castles around the world were created long before the advent of cranes, so how did the stone masons manage them, perhaps its more difficult with fibre glass and plastic.

I guess if they had used REAL stone....they wouldn't have to paint and repair it every decade or so.

The alternative is looking at a giant cage around the castle, just like ones used on the Washinton Monument and the Statue of Liberty. How do you think that would affect the magic?

I agree 100% with all your comments, they are doing a good job of keeping it out of the way. And I could not agree with you more about the park hours, the MK should not close early!!!!!!

I KNOW THAT!!! But this IS the part of the year they close early as opposed to other peak times of the year. Years ago, they used to have much better hours for the MK. You misunderstood what I am saying.
