Crane Behind Everest

First off I just wanted to say hello, since I'm new here.

I just got back from WDW on 3/24, and as usual had a great time. While there, I did find myself snooping and trying to pay attention to all the construction going on (Stitch, EE, Soarin, etc). One thing I noticed was a large crane way behind EE at Animal Kingdom. Is there something else under construction that we have yet to be told about? I'll post a picture as soon as I unpack and am able to upload it here.

I got the photo uploaded to my photo album. Now let's see if I can get it here. If this works right, then the crane is located off behind the right side of EE.

Was the crane moving at all, or was it just sitting there? I think there's a field back there. If it wasn't doing anything, it's possible it's just there for Everest construction. If it was, then it's probably some type of CM area.

Now I can't seem to recall if it was moving or not. It may have been, but I'm not 100% sure.

Silly me!!!!! :hammer:

Most likely it is a staging area for track sections. The crane most likely removes them from their trucks and places them on the ground until needed. Then they are loaded on another truck and taken over to the site for installation by the other crane on site.

Or perhaps under the cover of darkness and ride construction they’re lowering missiles into the new covertly built silo now that the cover of the castle air defence system has been so recklessly leaked on these boards.

Yeah, because General Grizz kept launching the missiles at the Jungle Cruise Boats & the Monorail. He blew our cover! :lol:
