It looks to me like Paul is only kidding. No one in their right mind would be so unreasonable and so willing to argue. Like Clemson Tiger said, research is asking questions and finding answers. If it is easier to ask the questions to other members, so be it.

Based on my experiences using research engines, it is sometimes hard to find what you are looking for due to all of the articles, sites, etc you have to go through to find exactly what you are looking for. Sometimes it can be a daunting task and quite frustrating.

I haven't ever heard of Heather either , but am afraid to ask questions :lookaroun ?? Just kidding..

We should take it easy and remember what we are doing here in the first place. (celebrating the best and happiest place in the world :sohappy: :sohappy: )

I don't want to get involved in the situtation that is going on here, but I did want to inform the members who are wondering who Heather Headley is. She is a wonderful actress, (I know this has been covered, but I still want to say it anyway because she was so great in Aida), singer and person. When I went to see Aida in 2001, I waited at the stage door, and had the opportunity to meet her and she was so wonderful. She was IMO, the best Aida. It would be a joy to see her in CP! Too bad I can't go down to see her!

I hope you are right, but Paul's behavior over the last couple of days and over a number of threads was condescending and abusive. I could kind of understand it if it was on one subject, but he belittled people on concern over the hurricane, abused some new folks on the site and I do have a hard time with the lack of respect of Steve.

I can enjoy a lot of types of humor, and deal with it when it goes over the top, but if someone is hurt, it's time to back off and for heaven's sake apologize...he just came back that much harder.

The last couple of days were the first that I've truly felt uncomfortable here.

I second that. I was wondering if I was the only one that noticed that things seemed to be getting a little nasty around here. I've avoided posting anything in the last few days, and have just stopped reading certain threads on several occasions because things were getting unnecessarily rude. A couple of times I thought about posting a "can't we just all get along?" message, but was afraid of being flamed. I hate to see people get banned, but you don't come to a Disney fan site to be treated like that. I can get that treatment anywhere!

I think that the apology is coming from the wrong person. But again, I think Paul was only kidding. I don't know him but based on reading his reply, he had to be joking. No one is that irrational, especially on a Disney fanatical website.

I have received a lot of useful information from people who know far more about Disney than I. I didn't use to think that was possible, but I was sorely mistaken. This site is great and extremely useful for upcoming trips. I just wish I would have known about it years ago. I wasn't much in to computers at all, not to say that I am now though.

As soon as I found out Heather was a narrarator for the CP, I told my family, because we all loved her in Aida (she was amazing to say the least) And we are actually thinking about planning a trip to WDW just to see her as narrarator. If you haven't already, buy the soundtrack for Aida. I fell in love with the soundtrack way before I even saw the show.

And, you did nothing wrong. I was acutally afraid to ask questions for the longest time because of some not so nice members, but I've learned to get over it, and most everyone here is nice.

I've said it before, Doing the right thing is not always the popular thing. I think you'll find on these boards, however, that many will rally around you when you do the right thing. While there may be an undertone of hostility lately, 99.9% of the people you'll find here are supportive, fun and informative. The family, fun atmosphere will return. Stick around. :wave:

Two years ago I was at the Christmas Eve one with Gary too!
It's so much fun, I loved it!

I was very happy to hear that Gary S. was going to be there when we would be there. Two years ago, we went to the first show and got soaked, but wouldn't have missed it. Hopefully this year the rain will hold off.
