CP Application/Interview Process

Hey everyone, I'm new here so please forgive me in advance if this has already been discussed elsewhere.

I'm going to be applying for the CP at the beginning of 2011 for the Fall program.I was wondering if anyone who has participated could shed some light on the details of the application and interview, especially the interview questions. I understand the the interview will be different depending on the area I want to work in but we can still discuss the questions anyway. Any other info about the CP would be great too.

For the interview, the questions will range from personal questions (like "why do you want to do the CP?") to questions about the roles you pick. It's really hard to know which questions they will ask otherwise.

One thing I forgot about was the web interview. What is it like and what kind of questions do they ask for it?

A family member was just accepted into the College Program, and I'd like details! Can someone fill me in on the next steps?

Hey there. I was accepted as well

The very next step is to log on and pay the program assessment fee which is 104.50 which is on a link sent in the email they provided.

They will then be allowed to choose their arrival date.

After that they would talk to their college advisor to check if anything needs to be signed for internship credit or if the disney company needs to sign anything.

From there you choose if you want to drive or fly there. If you fly I recommend booking the flight asap as prices DO go up.

From there I would recommend going to the facebook page for walt disney college program spring 2011 and talking to people perhaps to find a room mate.

The rest will just fall into place. hopefully this helped

Thanks! I just got my email and I've been accepted in Merchandise!!! I'm really surprised I found out so quickly. My interview was only a week and a half ago!

One thing I forgot about was the web interview. What is it like and what kind of questions do they ask for it?

I just have to say that to all who are applying...

I need to STRESS how important the web interview is.

It is a series of questions, and they aren't necessarily right or wrong. But however they ask several questions more than once, you know just to make sure that somebody isn't just clicking random answers. Just to get to the part where you schedule the phone interview, they want to make sure that they're dealing with a person who wants to be there and is genuine in their web responses.
