There has to be a bunch of us around these boards so...When and where did you do your college program??

I did mine at the front desk of Animal Kingdom Lodge Jambo House and Kidani Village in Spring 2010. And I lived in Chatham! Apartment 19303!! I'm also currently a Campus Rep back at my college. Hoping to get a P.I. for next summer - fall in Weddings or Conventions!

I could write a novel on my CPs! Here goes:
Spring 2005- Fantasyland merchandise
Fall Advantage 2006- character attendant
Summer 2007- Epcot World Showcase custodial
Summer 2008- QSFB Casey's Corner/DHS character attendant
Fall 2009- Toy Story Mania attractions
Spring 2010- Great Movie Ride attractions

I lived at Chatham for all but one CP (Summer 2007, when I lived at Patterson). I am still at Disney now. I am FT in Icon attractions

ICP J1 Academic Program Oct 07 - Apr 08. QSFB ABC Commissary and Sunset Ops.

Still with disney at Star Tours (which is also part of Icon Ops.) Also worked F/T MK Parking and Main St Ops.

My daughter, Irene, did the CP in Fall of 2009. She was in the Boneyard and Theater in the Wild-Finding Nemo the Musical.

She lived at the infamous Vista Way in Apartment 1303. Back home in NY, she is a Campus Rep and thinking about doing a pro-internship when she finishes her bachelor's.

I am not an alumni but am seriously considering the CP. My only question is do you have to live on Disney property? We are thinking about moving to Orlando and if I get to be apart of the CP that would be great. However, my boyfriend and I live together and it would be a little silly for him to have our place and then me suppose to be living on Disney campus.

If CP does require you to live on site I might just have to go for the internship first instead of doing CP then applying for the internship I want.

As far as I know, you must live on Disney property. I never met a CP that didn't. But I'm not 100% sure. Try e-mailing college recruiting and asking them. You can get their e-mail on wdwcollegeprogram.com.

No, you don't have to live on Disney property. During your application process you'll put down whether you want Disney housing or not. Good luck & have fun!

I did the college program back in fall 2007 at Animal Kingdom Lodge as a lifeguard! I also got cross trained to work in Simba's Cubhouse working children's activities. Fun stuff! Of course, they deployed me to other areas to guard - water parks, Contemporary, and my favorite: Downtown Disney Marina! I love it...moving back soon! :)

Fall 2008 in costuming at epcot & studios (characters, bpb, & fant), extended thru Spring 2009. Lived in Chatham 12111.

Went back & did the same thing for Fall 2010. Lived in Chatham 24103.

Loved both programs & went seasonal after each one.
