Covering trademarks

Hello everyone, my friend who is now a character at the parks told me that they when taking a picture with a guest, they need to cover-up any "non Disney" trademarks. My question is, to what lengths will the characters go to try and cover it up? Will they deny taking a picture with a guest? (I guess that's two questions...)
Thanks,

Dan

i must have missed it..what tigger guy?
A few years back, a Guest tried to sue Disney based on allegations that a character performer (Tigger) had touched her in an inappropriate way. It was later proved to be unintentional.

Characters covering up logos? Hardly. I have plenty of photos with Mickey in my Polo: Ralph Lauren shirt, or Love in his Guinness shirt for example.

Sorry, this smacks of an urban legend to me.

For regular park guest pictures... nope, I doubt this has or ever will occur.

However, for any pictures that Disney may want to publish as marketing material, I'd say this is true. There are usage requirements that must be followed if a trademark is used in promotional materials --- website, brochures, etc.

NOT funny ,we are friends with Tiggers "friend". And it was a LIE!, as a matter of fact it was found out , after they admitted it. They only claimed it happened when they were looking at the pics months after they were taken, and someone jokingly pointed out that it looked like that's what he was doing. And they made up the story and tried to scam the mouse for some money, and ended up ruining his life.
