Virtually every character you could think of was in Town Square back then. It was a much better time for fans of character Meet and Greets.I remember meeting Pinocchio and Gephetto at Town Square back in 2004.

I got the jug during my last trip-more than one CM warned me about the dangers of purchasing Moonshine from Big Al.Such a fun meet & greet! Which reminds me...I really want that CBJ jug they sell!
I remember them the most from Disney's Sing Along Songs Disneyland Fun from 1990.
I also vividly remember spotting some of the Robin Hood characters at Fantasyland at one point.Virtually every character you could think of was in Town Square back then. It was a much better time for fans of character Meet and Greets.
I remember this more fondly, the Disneyland Fun version of "It's A Small World" was what made me hooked in meeting characters in the first place. Keep in mind this was made in 1990 during the era when wandering characters was still a thing at DL and WDW.Holy Childhood Flashback, Batman!
I completely forgot about this sing along.
From Ohio and I've been to Disney World 6 times somehow this remains one of two attractions I have managed to skip every time in Disney World along with Relfections of China.
I found out, that they don't autograph, sorry for the thread bumper(sorry for guys who have autograph books and that they wanted their signatures)Oh and BTW, do they sign autographs like they did in the past?
I saw them, they were awesome! Loved everything about it. Free roaming beares. Now that Chip and Dale are moved to Town Square, the Frontierland vacancy will be filled by the Country Bears! I know some people won't be excited about this, but personally I'm thrilled! Big Al, Wendel, Shaker, and Liverlips. These are roaming sets, and not at the old chipmunk location
At least the Hatter and Alice at DL still keeps this charm alive.Country Bears are under rated. The show is more for adults - lots of jokes I'd think little kids won't get - and the animatronics, while old, give the feel of an old fashion country show. Go check it out, if you haven't already.
I, too, miss roaming characters. Now it feels like characters are untouchable having to stand in line forever. I got to meet Mary Poppins as she was walking to a pic spot this year in Epcot. We walked and talked along the way about how much we enjoy gardening. It was a rare treat!
