Country Bear Jamboree ?

MK is crowded as all heck, and this building sits half-empty on a good day. What a crime. I love the show, but Disney really needs to give people more of a reason to go. Seems like a natural to have seasonal shows here, so at least it wouldn't be the same all the time. They already have three version of the show (Jamboree, Vacation Hoedown, Xmas). Bring those back and create a couple more and there would at least be a different show each trip for those who make multiple trips a year.

Country Bears were a favorite of mine but they haven't aged well, IMO.

That being said, if they were to go I don't know what they'd put there (maybe a Frozen cowboy tie in!). I'd rather have the CBJ than have an abandoned building.

One thing I really like about CBJ is that it's not an IP tie in. Granted, they did make that movie no one saw about 15 years back but the CBJ was there long before then.

I would like to see the seasonal shows back too. I never saw the Christmas one, and the first time I went during the holiday season I was looking forward to seeing it. I was sorely disappointed to find out I missed it by a year, I went the first year they stopped showing it.

I very, very reluctantly agree. What seemed so mind-blowing when I was a kid seems trite now. I think the solution might be for the show's script to get an update, with new songs at least. And I agree with others here that seasonal shows would help too. I'd hate to see the Bears go completely. And I too, am stumped at what could replace them. They fit the area's theme perfectly.

I still don't think it was necessary to re-edit the show to the way it is now....

I completely agree. And they did a cheap job of the edit. Look at the heads on the wall - they're still leaning over and "talking" to each other as the main show goes on. You don't hear them, but their animation was just hacked, and a lot of their talking motions are still there!

I for one think the CBJ could use an update but not an overhaul.

CBJ is one of the WDW originals, not Disney but WDW. it should forever have a place in the park. They can update the animatronics, edit the show all they want.

We watched the show a couple months back and thought it could use an update. I'm a bit indifferent about the show...I'd be fine with it getting updated and I'd also be fine with a new attraction there. A Woody, Jesse and Bullseye show/movie would fit nicely in that area of the park.
