One of the videos I saw had Mac McAnally (of Jimmy Buffett fame). Mac’s a 10x CMA award winner. That gives me hope.

Honestly to me this is best case scenario, given Disney's recent trend of "Old, doesn't sell merch? Bye bye forever"

I get people being upset by this one but this should be viewed as a compromise. I imagine the choice was keep the bears but get new songs or replace them entirely with something like Woody's Roundup.

On some level I get that. On another level, "better than worst case scenario" doesn't necessarily mean "good."

I think if people were being honest with themselves, they'd realize that keeping the show with the current songs in today's society was not an option - especially not with the current culture at Disney.

The fact the words "The Country Bear Jamboree" wasn't followed by "will be closing on [insert date] for an exciting new attraction based on [Insert movie here]" is a win in my books. Dear lord how low the book has gone

Don't get me wrong. It's my favorite show. But I can easily see how 21st Century Disney doesn't feel like its a fit in MK....blood, ugly woman, fat joke, double entendres.

definitely agree - though it could have been updated to new original songs, not covers of Disney songs

At least we still have Tokyo...

Tokyo hasn't even brought back the holiday or vacation overlay, probably due to being cheap. They're practically just as bad for not bringing back those overlays.

I am very glad the attraction is getting some love and updates and at that the Bears are staying

Would prefer just new original songs vs the Disney Song Book, but I will take it and it definitely will bring in new fans and families, etc. Not like long waits to see the current show
