i remember the meteor finale. wasnt it just a stationary rock, and they used fiber optics to create its tail and it basically lit up as if it was flashing down to earth?

Yep that was pretty much it.

That part of the effect looked pretty good. The part they couldn't get working right or at least to their satisfaction, was the actual impact. They wanted massive amounts of heated smoke to fill the area quickly after the meteor impact, but of course they were on a limited budget. They should have used the money they spent on the Compy's (small jumping dinosaurs). I think only one of the seven is working now.

It makes me fantasize about what could be done to really scare the bejezzus out of people if Disney really let the reigns loose.
Have you seen the Country Bears Movie?

Scary stuff, man.

I don't think i've ever been on the ride when the final Carnotaurus was working. I've seen it up there, but its never been lit up or moving for me. What exactly does it do?

It pops out at you. It's not an AA or anything, just kinda comes outta no where.

Oh, srsly? I guess it was working then, i only saw it due to the strobe light effect from the time machine. Pretty lame if you ask me, Especially because its placement didn't really make much sense, are you going between its legs, or is it standing behind the time bubble?

Another thought, over at the Adventurer's Club, they have a T-Rex skull with the skeleton of an explorer in its jaws. One of the characters explained to me that the poor guy was running back to the time machine while being pursued by the dino As he jumped through the doors, the T-Rex caught up with him and he got chomped, but in the process the creature's head was cut off by the slamming doors. They opened the time chamber to find his body stuck between the jaws of the dino's decapitated head, so they mounted both up on the wall, the "way he'd want it".

Anyone else ever heard this story? Does that count as a strong story connection between Dinosaur and The Adventurers' Club?
