Could Aladdin the musical be heading for WDW?

Once The Diana Exhibit has gone (why it's in america in the first place is beyond me) they should Gut the Former Virgin Mega Stores and convert it into a Theatre, if that isn't big enough, disney Quest would be a good site to build it on as TDO appears have forgotten it judging by the 9-10yo technology in there.

Not such a good idea. Have you ever been to the West Side on a night when there is a huge concert at the House of blue and a show at La Nouba? You can't park anywhere as it is and now to put in another 1,500+ seat auditorium that has shows at the same time would be horrible on traffic. It needs it's own area and parking lot. While the restaurants would be good to have around, the bult of the people that attend "theatre" are bit bar hoppers that would enjoy the West Side. It's an entirely different type of entertainment.

There's nothing stopping them from opening up an Aladdin show at WDW right now if they truely wanted to. However, a show of this caliber can not be performed in FL for many reasons, one of which is being talent. LA is an oasis of talented performers (for obvious reasons), where as the talent in FL is normally second/third rate, at best. You'll notice that most of the shows at WDW dont have half as many cast members as Aladdin did, nor has any one show ever had that one "stand-out" actor that you wanted to see over and over again (which Aladdin has, with the amazing actor who has played Genie over the years). WDW's entertainment dept has always struggled with viable talent for these shows (they even struggle to find decent singers/dancers for the simplistic 15 minute parade shows like High School musical).

Excuse me? How about let's not argue about talent unless you are formally trained in musical theatre, thank you.

I saw the Aladdin show in DCA and seeing the theater size and the stage's size, it's pretty big. I doubt they will remove Beauty and the Beast because still a lot of people still see the show. I don't think La Nouba will be removed because I heard they renewed their contract. It will be good if it went to the Hunchback's theater :). That theater has been empty for years now. If they put it there they should just make the theater bigger if they can. About the Toy Story show in DCA, that is going to replace Aladdin, is it going to be like the show that they have on DCL?
