I'm glad to see Florida is finally taking real action.

Frankly it is probably too late now to really be that effective. If you want to be successful in doing this type of thing you need to start it before the infection rate reaches 1% for a normal viral pandemic like the spanish flu... but given this virus as such a high percentage of asymptomatic carriers you would need to implement hardcore restrictions even sooner because you have no clue where you really are in terms of actual infections. I expect Florida cases to continue to pick up and maybe make the top 3 in the country soon.

Omg riiiiight? Been doing it for about 8 years and people get so offended! Or the people who come up and GRAB MY BABY’S HANDS OMG.

People are insane. Even my kids know 1st ask the mom or dad. 2nd toes only. I know most babies feet end up in the mouth as well, but when people are out usually the baby has on socks.

Oh I know but something is better than nothing. Glad individual counties are doing their part since the Gov is an idiot.

It takes 5-10 minutes to even get from the home screen into a Fortnite match and those matches can last up to a half hour. I would say it’s just as beneficial for him to play a social game online with friends than a card game with family.

I’m adjusting to all of this.. cut me some slack ;)
This is what the months used to look like, 7-9 days were the max, 25-65 minutes per occurrence-
I do wish EA games were cross platform, I would have an easier time allowing FIFA over Fortnite.

Big difference is this is spread out over a whole season, (Oct to April), and is mitigated by slow spread due to the vaccine, etc.

Coronavirus is rapidly spreading and no one has immunity. If left unchecked, the numbers of Coronavirus cases and deaths would easily dwarf the flu cases. Coronavirus deaths to date in the US represent about 1.5% of total cases and it's climbing (was 1.3% a few days ago).

Honestly this is somewhat of an ignorant statement. Deaths could climb dramatically in the coming days as NY runs out of ventilators and ICU beds.

Total confirmed cases. This 1.5% is based on incomplete data. We currently show 1,078 deaths on 75,000 confirmed cases, or a 1.4% mortality rate. If you assume that for every confirmed case, there are two others who a) couldn't get tested b) asymptomatic, or c) just self-quarantined due to mild symptoms, you'd have 225,000 cases, or a death rate of 0.4%. Yes, I realize more will die, but only considering confirmed cases when calculating the mortality rate is just a way to inflate the mortality rate and scare people.

What I don't understand is come let's say May 1st, and everything is back opening in the US. What happens if there is a uptick again on COVID-19. Everything closes down again? I don't think I have read that a promising vaccine is in the near future.

FCC sent out an email today, with a video message and a hype-video which was supposed to be I unveiled at the home opener. There is no way that professional sports organizations are going to forgo their season.. it won’t happen. If they open by May, then Disney will as well.

there will be a fall cycle which they are already preparing for so we don’t have to go through the same strict measures again.

Everything won't be open May 1st. I know for a fact that theaters in NYC aren't even sure they're going to make August now. This doesn't change your question though.
