Ours too. Quite a few big hospital systems across Illinois doing this now.

Vaccine passport. Masks for everyone else.

Grocery, hospital, transportation, government buildings - masks indoors for all if numbers (hospitalizations/deaths) warrant.

Businesses didn't want to enforce mask mandates in the first place, even when there was no vaccine. There's no way they're going to do it if the bosses and employees are all vaccinated. And at least in Illinois, any type of police or agency enforcement against businesses was few and far between even in the worst days of COVID. If this turns into a serious problem, vaccine passports may be the only answer - preferable at the national level. Let's hope more people take the hit and get vaccinated.

It’s totally an identification issue. It’s unvaccinated finding one more way to ruin it for others, no doubt about it.

Just like the ones my kid thwacked. They aren’t very trusting. It’s definitely created some unnecessary bruises. 😂

You cannot do this on a national level. Some states prohibit. Also once inside how do you enforce for the medically unable to vaccinate?

well then I guess someone else will have to figure it out, won't they? :D

Then let's just go back to masks for all. Whatever, everyone sucks on both sides because no one wants to give.

I'm honest. I'm going to be annoyed (my word was blurred) if I have to go back to wearing masks because of idiots who choose not to get vaccinated and those who want to cater to them. I'll do it, but it's bull.

I know you’re just joking but if your kid poked vaccinated adults who aren’t required to wear masks where I live, you could very well be the one ending up with the bruises.

You're acting like I am being unreasonable. I don't appreciate that. Our states have made any chance of mandates or vaccine passports impossible. So we're here - how do we fix?

We have a serious issue with unvaccinated. We need to fix that asap

Edit: saw your edit. I don't want to go back either, but not sure what to do. I echo your frustrations really. I've done all I can and was itching to ditch the mask from mid Jan on.

Everything I say to answer your questions you argue, and I don't have answers yet you keep asking. It's a freaking message board where people sound off. I'm not President and can't make mandates or decisions. If anyone on here had actual answers and solutions they wouldn't be on here, including you.

is NJ/NY will be okay in fall/winter as other many people will getting vaccinating in other states such as FL, TX, GA, CA, etc...by fall?

I'm dramatic? If you say so. And all I know of you is that you enjoy being contrary here. If you've done anything to help get people vaccinated, feel free to share.

Manipulation and trying to turn things around like I started this and I'm the bad guy won't work! I'm a mom of a teen, I'm used to comments like yours and quite immune to them.
