Just watching Spectrum News 13... in their story they didn't put the qualifiers of "continue to follow federal, local, and business rules." They just, twice, very enthusiastically said "no masks outdoors and indoors for vaccinated people!"

So yeah, that's going to be a problem for businesses.
Pfft, even the White House decided to put "fully vaccinated people" in little letters in their "announcement graphic" with CAN STOP WEARING MASKS in like 100pt bold.

I don't doubt that the messaging is jumbled - seemingly on purpose.

Or just wait to institute changes like this until an appropriate number of American's are vaccinated, which results in actual herd immunity, which protects not only the vaccinated, but also the unvaccinated....

Your country is not that that far off from this, could be a matter of months.
But if one is vaccinated - they are neither spreading, nor receiving the virus - which means that wearing one is essentially useless.

Yeah, I saw PA adopted the CDC guidelines for fully vaccinated people. I assume they are going on the honor system which is a train wreck. My 11 year old has his 5th grade field trip to Hershey Park tomorrow so this is a bit shocking and unfortunate that they couldn’t have waited another day.

Yeah, definitly not something you should spring on your guests at the last second.

But no explanation about whether you will need to prove this or if it will just be honor system.
There is nothing on their website but a pop up that says this:

Consistent with updated guidance from Pennsylvania and the CDC, face coverings and social distancing for guests who are fully vaccinated will no longer be required.

I guess the school and chaperones need to make their requirements clear while there?

The kids will all be masked since they are 10 and 11 year olds. It’s just kinda an odd change to make effective immediately without any details on how it will work. I‘d prefer my unvaccinated 11 year old isn’t at a theme park the first day the rules change, but he will have a mask at least and the other kids he’s with.

But until you have a comfortable percent vaccinated, I feel you need to assume they are unvaxxed.

Once you reach the threshold, then you assume most are vaxxed.

Right now it's basically a free for all, which is not a policy.

Sadly probably not. I think they are pretty much just dropping masks for everyone unless they release some details soon on a requirement of proof. It is what it is, but would have been nice to have more than 15 hours notice though.

I think we are going to see this happening everywhere. And very, very quickly. (Disney being a bit slower than the others.)

Which is a shame. When I thought we would be at this point 'soon', I was thinking sometime in June. But like everything with this darn virus, unwise decisions are the norm at every level.

So wierd seeing everyones reaction in most of the world where lockdowns are still in effect to some degree. Here in Florida i feel like it ended a year ago? Minus the mask inconvenience.
Yes. My excitement is through a Disney Parks restrictions lens. Personally it would just align Disney with everyday life since last year.
