Wouldn’t a walk down MainStreet mask less be exactly what we all need about now? We can hope!
Oh absolutely. I'd love to be WALKING RIGHT DOWN THE MIDDLE OF MAIN STREET USAAYYYY maskless with the dapper dans not on the train station distanced and right by the Emporium waiting for FOF to start at 3 o'clock. Obviously, that won't be possible for a while and I've had to accept that. But I've waited for a moment like the 50th for so long that I'm determined to be optimistic it'll be spectacular.

Maybe even a little space between people? I’ll take 3 feet.. I’ve gotten used to people not running up my ankles and legs. No masks and a bit of distance. I’m in.

Just think at some point CMs will be getting hugs again from everyone that missed them and Disney.

My daughter is much older now, but I look forward to when this can happen again for guests.

I'm not a touchy person with strangers so I vote distancing still but no masks lol
I enjoy interacting with stranger while waiting in line. Though I remember talking with a physician from Lebanon one time while waiting in line for Toy Story, his wife was not as pleased I think because he spent a lot of the time in line talking to me vs paying her attention.

But even with my propensity to strike up conversations with strangers in line I would rather be without mask vs lowering social distance if the choice was mine to make.

In the interest of Steve’s request to keep non-Covid politics out of this thread I don’t want to go down this path any further. If someone wants to post a thread in the politics section I will gladly give my opinions. I have worked in the energy industry for years so have some insight into all of this. It’s not as simple as the political talking heads try to make it out.

Everyone in this thread is getting shots has me wondering what the average age on the forum is 🤣🤣
Most states have started some level of essential workers and/or people with health conditions. I don’t think that all of the people here who have gone so far are 65+. FL hasn‘t opened it up to essential workers yet but many other places have. In Philadelphia where my parents live they still haven’t opened to 65-74 but they have opened to essential worker groups. The rest of PA is more in line with the CDC guidlelines.
