I always love when the Minnie van - run by Lyft...is 3x the price of lyft - run by lyft.I took it once out of desperation. It cost me 38 bucks from the Hoop dee do to the Boardwalk. It’s for the high rollers.
Its very concerning. Sadly, I think that many states are waiting for the Holiday boom to pass before a hard lockdown. It will be a mistake to wait for the holiday to pass.Worth pointing out the top four states for newly reported deaths today were Arizona, California, Florida and Texas.
All the warning signs are flashing. I personally do not think this is meaningless.
I do fully believe everyone had no clue how bad things were in New York when it shut down. Testing was so poor at the time. Even though there are >50k new cases in the US, I don't think it is yet as bad as the total unaccounted peak numbers in March/April. Instead we are seeing the evolution in more real time of what New York probably actually looked like around the time it was being shut down.
I do hope the awareness and social distancing rules are somewhat better this time around to compensate. Because I cannot imagine what the North Eastern States would have looked like if they refused a shut down. It is undersold that those states were terrible even after unprecedented - albeit late - intervention.
Those people want everyone to do intelligent things and cut the “the stupids shall inherit the earth!” Dogma...
...so they’ll NEVER be proven right...actually.

It’s almost like they have a partner that’s price gouging

ya got itI took it to mean “boom” in an economic sense. Could be wrong, though.
Economic boom? Bars are closed. Most people don’t eat out on holidays. There’s no fireworks. Costco will be packed to the rafters on Friday.economic boom
On this...we agree. You calls it like you sees it. So do I. That being said, I don’t mind being wrong. It don’t hurt.
Costco is always packed on FridaysEconomic boom? Bars are closed. Most people don’t eat out on holidays. There’s no fireworks. Costco will be packed to the rafters on Friday.
I think it’s going to be at least a year before we see any real economic booming.
Have you ever been to Costco the day before they are closed for a holiday? Don’t....just don’t do it.Costco is always packed on Fridays
is that a war zone or the Costco parking lot???.
