It has come to people making their best judgements. Most infections seem to be asymptomatic. So again that indicates natural immunity. But high risk people should take precautions as necessary. There are degrees of those at higher risk obviously.
I don’t care to get into this natural immunity thing. I have no evidence it doesn‘t exist and I would be happy if it did but that doesn’t mean it does exist. I also wanted the disease to go away in the summer and be seasonal...didn’t get that one.

Obviously there are degrees of high risk, but the point stands that a plan to hide away the high risk wouldn’t work. As @mickeymiss said masks and social distancing are our best bet to get through this and get the economy going. We just need everyone to get on board already.

Again we will see what happens. As for your asinine comment about wishful thinking I personally could care less because I’m not going to Disney anytime this year. They could open next month or stay closed for another month or two and it affects me not.
I think she was referring to this announcement.

Those who run WDW reiterated today that they are going forward with re-opening and the CA delay has no impact. That can obviously change in the few weeks before re-open but that’s the plan as of today.

One of my favorite parts of WDW just announced they will open back up again October 1st of this year. JellyRolls on the boardwalk. They are really playing it safe. Knowing the close quarters inside and for sure you can’t wear masks with everyone singing, they are probably hoping by that time masks will be a thing of the past. Not so sure but we can hope.

I mean, this isn't new? Of course if an AP was staying at a non Disney hotel they would need to follow the same rules as a local AP doing a day trip?

That's the way I understand it.

Also DFB doesn't get any real scoops that any travel agent doesn't already get.

in the replies to the tweet it was said that if an AP were to have a vacation booked in Dec, you cannot make a park reservation for any time sooner..

You could visit sooner, you'd just have to take a gamble that December is still available closer to your visit date, or book another Disney Resort stay.

Not a good process at all.

Singing is a very efficient way to spread COVID. Choir directors around the country are clear there can be no safe public singing in close quarters. Disney knows this guidance. Many churches are not planning on having choirs until there is a vaccine. In my diocese, singers must be 30 feet apart. I will be very surprised if Jellyrolls or any sing-along show resumes at Disney this year.

Yes I saw that and WDW certainly can open as scheduled but there many factors that can change that. Again, we will see.

This is not true. I have a trip booked for Dec and also have park reservations for 2 other months. I do have DVC reservations for all 3 trips. So as long as you are staying at Disney I think you are OK.

Just saw on The Nameless Site that Jellyrolls is scheduled to open along with BWI on Oct 1.

That's... optimistic.

Everyone gets a clear face shield?

But as a pass holder goi g on a single day trip you can't
I'm sorry I did not state it very well in my reply. Let me try again with more information.

I have a trip for Dec and I have an annual pass. I am staying in a DVC for 1 nite before a cruise and I booked a park reservation for Epcot so we could have dinner there and do a few rides. Then I have 2 more trips planned for other months before Dec staying at DVC resorts and I was able to make park reservations for both of those trips. I do not know where you are getting your information from, but I can tell you that it is wrong as I have done it.
