Daily positive rate of 12.5%? Eeeesh.
Daily rates can be deceptive depending on timing of reporting. If the weekly positive rate goes above 10% there will be some serious debate on what to do. Positive rates under 10% was the main gating item used to determine when it was time to begin re-opening.

So at what point does Disney make the decision to push back reopening?

These numbers get worse everyday. We are about 3 weeks away from opening.

They can't really pull back now, there are too many things in motion at this point. If Disney enforces the mask and social distancing procedures, then we shouldn't really see large spikes from the parks. Again, allow them to open and give the option for people to go if they feel comfortable.

Here in the Keys, we had a road block, residents only. Until June 1st, when we opened and the road block came down, we had about 110 cases. I think we had several weeks with no new cases. Now, we are getting new cases every day. Lots of tourists from Miami coming here, and they do not want to wear masks. They are rude to employees and business owners. A law was needed.

This is going to be a rough summer.

I'm glad they acted relatively quick. Tourists in the keys can indeed be a bit... rowdy. Hopefully Disney is prepared to handle it.

I wouldn‘t hold my breath on pushing back. It would have been much easier to announce a later opening date than a push back. What this data most likely impacts is not the re-opening date, but the speed at which restrictions roll off. Back in May some of us thought that maybe by the time Disney opened the situation on the ground would be good enough that they could maybe loosen some of the social distancing and possibly even make masks recommended instead of required. The thought was FL could be rolling into or already in their phase 3 and basically fully open. As things stand today the state may still go full steam ahead into what they want to call phase 3 anyway, but none of the data supports that. If the current trend continues it will be difficult for Disney to ramp up capacity and/or start to mix in things like larger group gatherings and shows.

On a positive note we still have close to a month before full open. If the state and/or localities react to the current surge and actually implement some real additional social distancing and mask requirements there’s still time to reverse the trend prior to WDW full open. We have seen where I am in PA that businesses can re-open and life can go back to some version of sorta normal with full masks and social distancing in place (and followed) and the case totals can continue to drop. Opening businesses isn’t what is causing the spike in new cases, it’s careless behavior.

Also what is misleading is people are getting tested they test positive a 2nd test and 3rd test are performed and both of those are negative and the antibody test is negative. The positive test is reported to the state and counted as well.

I know 3 people had this happen in the past 10 days they were tested a 2 days later they were informed they were positive, they went back in for a test it (the 15 minute test) it came back negative, then a regular test was performed and 2 days later that came back negative at the same time an antibody test was performed and that came back negative 6 days later. All 3 were tested at different locations in Central Florida (UCF, and then Advent Health Orlando).

These individuals had zero signs as well.

False positives happen but not at that rate, prison testing can increase numbers but not as much. Like I said earlier, if trends continue at this rate Florida could be in deep trouble by next week. Unfortunately, due to the lag with this virus, it may be too late by next week. I really hope I’m wrong, but the numbers look terrible, and with the population mix things can get bad in a hurry. With numbers like this, even if the parks were open I would have still canceled my trip that was supposed to occur Tuesday.

Every day it gets worse and worse with how many find ways to make the numbers look good. I just have to ask is why does so many want to downplay it?

I'm not saying to back to a lockdown but where the cases are rising they need to put in stricter social distancing measures. Mandatory masks inside businesses and limit capacity as well. If you have to start fining people for noe complying then so be it. Where I live they have fined people $800 for not complying and have handed out over 900 tickets. By doing that people have been mostly following the rules.

Because they think it's hysteria. They use buzzwords like fear, hysteria, stupidity. And our elected leaders have, for the most part, said it's over. So I guess they think it must be.
