Interesting poll. Only 40% of people surveyed said they would go to a sporting event, concert or theme park before there is a vaccine. That seems lower than I would have assumed. 32% said they would not go to a movie theater until a vaccine. Not good news for a company that makes movies and runs theme parks :(

I know. It's another province (kind of like saying "another state"). And it's their prerogative.

We'll see if it works out for them. I do hope it does, because working from home for almost 2 months now is incredibly boring. However, few people over here think it will.

I'll look kindly on them for offering themselves as a test subject. Same for the States down south.
It’s just your original post didn’t seem to carry this level of kindness. It was barely concealed disgust with the US of A. Which, I mean it’s fine, but don’t hold Canada up as some shining beacon of righteousness.

Bad timing on this poll. I’m assuming that in 2 months, that number will change significantly.

Omg, how awful. Another terrible example of how people can be imprisoned indefinitely, while having committed no crime. :(
They were/are taking good of the crew. We had training wen could go to and still working a little bit each day to keep the ship running and beautiful so we will be ready to welcome back guests!

Welcome back guests? Yeah, good luck with that!! LOL!!
How many people on how many ships were told just a few weeks ago, "Sorry, we don't care if you starve or die, you aren't allowed to get off HERE!" and you think people are revved up to get back on those ships?!?

Again, this has been debunked by the health department they work in and scientists at large. It is a conspiracy theory that has been removed by YouTube and Facebook - that alone should tell you all you need to know.

For health matters, one should rely on peer reviewed data and research that cites the original primary sources.

Sorry, you beat me to it.

You know what's funny?
Dr. Birx made it clear that only those where COVID-19 was a contributing factor have their deaths listed as such. It is explained, in detail, in the article via the CDC guidance. Stop spreading baseless conspiracy theories.

i think originally she wasn’t so clear during a press conference. But she clarified on a later date. There should be a video on her original back and forth with the reporter somewhere. Maybe this is where this all comes from?? This is just my recollection..
