We were there a few weeks ago. It is a large resort but really great. It was peaceful, not overcrowded and the staff is so nice. The Pepper Market is very delicious and a great value, especially for breakfast. The rooms were recently redone and they looked great. They were clean, spacious and it was pretty.

Have fun!!

Coronado has been our resort of choice more often than not lately, we really enjoy it there. And if you are on the counter service dining plan the Pepper Market in my opinion is probably your best value.

We stayed there last month for 11 nights and I could say it was one of our best WDW vacations ever. We've stayed at a few different deluxe and moderate resorts but it was our first time at CSR. We were pleasantly surprised.

We booked standard view with the 20% off promotion so I was expecting an out-of-the-way room at the Ranchos section with a view of the parking lot. When we arrived to register we were lucky enough to be served by a very friendly and delightfully cheerful CM by the name of Eleanor. She and my wife chatted it up for a while and apparently Eleanor had friends near our hometown and knows our area very well.

Before we knew it we were upgraded to a water-view room at the Cabanas. Instead of a long walk to El Centro, we had a shorter walk to the lobby/restaurants/shops. We were also a short walk to the pyramid pool and were right next to the small quiet pool. Definitely a great start to our vacation. The rest of our stay was very enjoyable.

I would definitely not mind coming back but it seems our kids are hell bent on staying at the AoA next time.

We stayed 8 nights at CSR in 2009. I have no complaints and would definitely go back. We stayed in the Cabanas and found it to be a good location, between the pool and the food/shops. Also, never had any problem with the transportation. Have fun!! :)

We just stayed this past may for the first time since the big renovation. We really enjoyed it! The room was great and spacious-had a king bed and the room was a short walk to the main building where we had at least one meal every day. The music and colors are great which make the ambiance welcoming. And hey you save a ton of cash yesss!!

Enjoy!

Thanks no Dining plan - we have tables of wonderland though. I think they participate!

By far my FAVORITE Moderate resort. Have stayed there 3 times with out most recent trip being for 9 nights this past May. The buses run great and the resort is SO centrally located to all the parks, nothing felt like more then a 15 minute ride!

It is a very big resort, but do not let that scare you. Do your homework, Buzz's site is amazing and I highly recommend it. Not sure what your preferances are as far as room locations go, but definitely suggest noting a room request on your reservation prior to arrival. I have stayed in all 3 sections of the resort (Ranchos, Casitas and Cabanas). Of the 3, Cabanas was my fav. We were in Cabanas 8A. Short walk to El Centro and the Dig Site pool was just across from us. We were also steps away from the Cabanas bus stop.

All is all, I think you will be more then happy with your choice. Enjoy!
