What is your favorite section of Disney's Coronado Springs Resort and why?

Casitas- Represents the urban-side of the southwest.

Ranchos- Pueblo-style villas in a rural and rustic setting.

Cabanas- Represents Mexico's coastal areas.

All the times I've stayed there, I was too busy taking the very long hikes to the bus stops and therefore never really noticed the theme aspect.

Thus far I have only stayed at the Casitas, but I got a tour of the Ranchos and didnt like them as much. I am hoping to get the Cabanas in October when I go. Belle

I have only stayed at the Ranchos, but on that note I thought the resort was nice. The bus times were very quick never waited long for a bus. The restaurant area was awesome, the pool area was great.

I prefer the Ranchos section for it's superior theming and close proximity to the Digsite. The only downside is the long walk to Check-In.

If you look at the resort map you might think you want a room in the Casitas section for it's close proximity to check-In. Don't buy into it. The theming in Casitas is bland and uninspired.

If you want a short walk to the main lobby and food court area then I suggest chosing the Cabanas. The walk is a bit longer than the Casitas but it's worth it for the beach hammocks and relaxing atmosphere.
