Great hardship this, but looks like we'll be returning to WDW in early June for 10 days. We've stayed in Port Orleans Riverside and Caribbean Beach before, but are this time looking at somewhere a bit different, and CSR may fit that bill.

Looking at Google Earth, the Cabanas Village looks the quietest area and has a good sized "beach" (hopefully with hammocks!). Transportation looks good too, as while we'll have a car I'll be off in it for a few days doing non-Disney things.

What do you all think of CSR? Does anyone have any good pictures of the resort. Comments and advice gratefully received!

Also, never been in June. We are going 5th-15th, what's the weather like that time of year?

And one more question - is a 10 day MYW ticket with park hopper really over $600? That seems a lot, can get an annual pass cheaper than that. I got the prices from the WDW site....

Hi there, For information, pictures, video on the Coronado take a look at the following website:
http://coronado_springs.tripod.com/
I have always found it to be great!!!! Belle

Yea, Buzz has a great CS site. Not as good as Tikiman's organization-wise, but very informational all the same.

I still don't know which mod to book for '09 ... CBR with the new pirate themed pool or CS for something different.

Oh well, I'm sure I'll change my mind a dozen times before then :)

I just stayed at Coronado for the first time a couple weeks ago. I absolutely loved it. It's gorgeous, and there's almost no kids there! It's SO quiet and relaxing and you don't have any heathens running around. Like someone else said it's a popular place for business conventions so you see a lot of classy people walking around with briefcases.

We stayed in Casitas. For bus transportation it's the best place to be. First people on the bus, first people off the bus. It's a LONGGGG walk to the pool from there, but a nice walk (the resort is gorgeous). Casitas is also very close to the Lobby and restaurants. I don't know about Cabanas, but Ranchos looked very undesirable to me. So definitely request Casitas or Cabanas.

You'll love it. I can't wait to stay there again.

Wow, thanks for all the replies. It seems that people like Coronado Springs so we've booked it for 5th-15th June, and will report back on what its like when we return!

Does anyone know what the crowds are like on those dates?
