Happy we were able to enjoy this resort pre-tower. Hope it turns out better than I fear. I wonder how many resorts will eventually have towers looming over them.

If I remember correctly they started on the tower back in Sept. 2017

Concept art has been put up on the construction walls at the resort with "coming Summer 2019" on it. Same concept art we have already seen.

Estimates given the general timeframe for the sake of a spreadsheet. Darker blue are estimates.

I agree the main Maya Temple pool will be crowded but luckily there are 3 quiet pools around the resort that will free up some space.
May be time for them to consider expanding either the main pool or one of the Quiet pools (preferrable the one in the Casitas next to the Health Spa).

After looking back to the beggining of this thread I don't see anything mentioning a pool but there is a suggestion of a water feature.

Doesn't look like any new outdoor pools for the tower. They could always do an indoor one.
