Sure a few should be in there, but I don't think they should be tearing down old, classical attractions just because IOA has a new roller coaster. IOA, Universal, Six Flags attract and entirely different audience than Disney does... and no matter how many "the world's fastest, highest, rides" they add, they will never, ever come close to Disney.
I do admit that MK could use another E-Ride, but why demolish a ride like COP to make room for it.... last I check, the 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea site was empty. Also... modifying SM would be a sin. WDW has its own classic version of Space Mountain... and last I check, its still one of the most popular rides in WDW (ever walked onto SM??). I think one upside-down rollercoaster in WDW is one too many.
I agree completely...its quality not quantity that makes Disney so great. Imagineers halt projects just so they can make them perfect and not rush them like rides at six flags which are jsut cheap thrills and not great themed rides like Disney offers. Anyone can build a stupid roller coaster but thats not what Disney wants to do they want to go the next step and make it there own with great themeing and own Disney touch that us fans keep coming back each time for more. My last visit to Disney was in April and my fam suckered me into going to IOA for the last day, I was not impressed at all and sadly it made my disney vacation go out on a sad note....live and learn. I recommend if anyone does this go to IOA before Disney. that way you can end the vacation on a magical note. But I think my next vacation will be only on Disney property.
