Coordinated Shirts

How many of you who travel to WDW in groups wear the same color / design shirt. We usually coordinate one day but this year we are coordinating all 5 days.

My aunt, sister and I wore coordinating shirts one year. The shirts were white with three pandas on them-see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil. I would like to have a shirt with the WDWMagic logo and my user name if I could. I have 3 months and two weeks before I go :sohappy:

I bought the whole gang matching shirts as a surprise when we took my Mom and Dad to WDW for their 40th Anniversary!

They were a HUGE hit! We all wore them on the same day for pics and stuff, then a few of them liked them so much they wore them again!

They were the "ALL-AMERICAN MICKEY" t-shirts in Red, Blue, and White, with the date on them. Nice keepsakes...and GREAT pictures! :sohappy:

Other than that one time, I can safely say I have never worn matching outfits with anyone ON PURPOSE!

Except there are those rare times when my "one of a kind" shirt is seen all over the parks!!! :lookaroun

On one trip to Disney, my grandmother saw a woman wearing the exact same shirt and the exact same pants from walmart. It was definitely a weird moment.

Contact Zac (MainStreetUSA) he has some nice shirts. He made up the ones for last July's meet. Good quality & good price.
We didn't have our usernames on them though.

Me and my fiance are planning on wearing matching shirts on our honeymoon. Instead of spending a whole bunch of money on clothes before we leave we plan to spend a whole bunch of money on t-shirts from all over WDW. Yah, I know, we're huge dorks.

My family always wear the Thanksgiving day football shirts we order for our annual game. We have our names and numbers on the back. Usually have a few grass stains left over from the game too. Yeah that maybe a tad dorky also.

My wife and I don't wear matching shirts, but we make our three sons wear matching shirts everyday at WDW. Most of the shirts are brightly colored and plain (no design). It's amazing how much easier it is to keep track of them using this strategy. I would highly recommend this to parents!

Ok if you are at WDW from May 6-15th you might just spot my family this trip. we are all going to be wearing our Cardinal t-shirts...Pujols, Walker, Edmonds etc., the kids are also going to be wearing matching outfits one day. They do make for great photos and easier keeping an eye on your own kids ;) nothing like telling the wrong kid to get off of the bars!

I must say packing has been a lot easier with the matching shirt colors. I agree the pictures do look a lot better with matching shirts.

We have done this the last two years. We each get one matching shirt with Mickey and Pals, our family name, month and year printed on them. There is a second set we get which has a character fitting the persons personality with the number of visits to Disney they have made. All are white T-shirts so it doesn't help with locating everyone, but it does look great in the pictures.

We do a combination of matching and/or coordinating every day. I like our "official" photos to look good (4 parks) since they will be displayed in our home until the next trip. Sometimes it is not a "matching" thing, but a coordinated look... tropical prints in Animal Kingdom, red & black Mickey colors on the day we meet the Mouse, Buzz lightyear apparel for my husband & son when we go to MGM. The outfits we wore to dinner at Chef Mickey's were the best though... I had purchased a really cool Mickey dress years ago... it is navy with white Mickey heads on it. I found the matching one for my daughter on eBay so that was the beginning... then I bought the guys navy blue shorts and made white T's with the same Mickey head on the chest. We looked great! And to top it off, Chef Mickey's had added the dinner plate to have your photo taken and we matched PERFECTLY! It is the best photo... looks totally planned!!

Ok, so I admit it... I am a total dork!)

OFF TOPIC... Disney must be making a MINT on all of those photos... we bought 8 last time (4 parks, 2 rides, 2 dinners)!

Holly

P.S. I am fairly new to the WDWMagic site... and am really enjoying it!

We've done the matching shirts thing twice. In 2000, 10 of us wore bright yellow T's with green silk screen on them. Nine said, "I'm on vacation with John" the 10th said "I'm John, on vacation". In 2003, we bought shirts from the Disney catalog, Mickey waving. Five said "WDW2003: A Magical Birthday Adventure", the fifth said "Hi, I'm John! Today is my 40th Birthday."

Oh yeah, each year we name our trips since with a name, they sound more important. Here are a few examples.

2000: WDW T2000 (Walt Disney World, Tower Club 2000)
2001: Coming Home, A Polynesian Adventure to WDW.
2002: On the Road Again to 100 years of Magic
2003: WDW2003: A Magical Birthday Adventure
2004: WDW2004: Summer 2004
2005: WDW2005: A Graduation Celebration
