coolers?

A friend of mine (its not me, honest) is going to The World this weekend. She used to 'sneak' a cooler into the park to defray the cost of drinks. But now with the heightened security she's concered about them not letting her in with the cooler. I thought it was a general rule that coolers weren't allowed so I don't know what will happen. But I told her I'd check it out.
Any one have any experience with this?
(its not me, heck, I feel guilty leaving WDW to go to Universal for a day, I'd feel even worse trying to sneak a cooler in!!)

Dallas, eh? My job sent me down there for a few month back in early 2000. Quite a commute that was. Every week I was back and forth to Dallas. I had an apt. in irving, right on Royal Lane. It was a lot of fun! I miss it a little bit.

we dont live in dallas we leave right near the louseyanna state line so he stops by going and coming :) you might as well move to Dallas ..heck there aint no texans living there ..they all moved to ft worth and let the yankees take over ( hope you dont mind the teasing ) btw .. I like star wars too ..but only the first ones ..dont know yet but maybe the new one will be as good

Didn't see too many 'native texans' while I was down there. No cowboy boots or big hats. (just kidding) I'm a programmer, so I mostly spent my time with the tech-heads. I did venture out a bit to do some sight seeing, check out the stadium and stuff. I miss the home theater stores. We don't have any close by up here.
Speaking of programming, I'm outt here, I'm off to pick up my little Princess. Hopefully I catch up with you guys tonight.

Tink,
Sorry to hear things aren't going too well :( I sure do hope DH doesn't have to go OTR. That would stink! Anyways, since Paul drives truck, he is pretty confident he will be able to find a job just about anywhere we want to move, and we do want to move to Disney World. Uh, I mean, Orlando, LOL!

I liked Phantom, but yeah, i am hoping this next one is better!

Driving a Disney bus, now that would be kind of cool. I always thougt it'd be cool to be a security guard, you get to walk around the park, interact with the public. Maybe when I retire in about 30 years.

You both should be able to get on the new coaster in Animal Kingdom. Are either of you coater riders?

Woohoo!!!! I am so glad to hear that! we have been checking and it has looked pretty good so far. Glad to have another positive remark about it. Paul and I have already decided we will be moving. We have also already decded it will be Oct/Nov. The job and housing are just technicalities (sp?) to us. It will all work out because we want it to and we are very determined people! Paul would love working for Disney, but he is worried they will only pay him $7 and hour, LOL! We'll have to see.

My wife was the same way, too scared to try anything (especially after I talked her into Space mt, Splash Mt and the Tower on our honeymoon ;)
but she did try RnR Coaster and actually liked it!!! I couldn't believe it, I was sure I was in trouble after the ride, but she really liked it, even more than the Tower. You gals should try it, its really not that bad!!!
I don't have ICQ, what is it?

That's great. A move to Orlando. Heck I'm all worked up about moving a couple towns away (I'm one of those types you likes to have all the details figured out)
Maybe you could just go to Disney, buy stuff and sell it to us northeners on Ebay:lol:

I see what ICQ is now, I'll have to d/l it this weekend. I'd do it now, but my connection STINKS!!! So I'll bring the laptop to my parents, they have a broadband connection (another good reason to move!!) and I'll get hooked up and let you know my number.
