Convince me to ride Summit Plummet

I love thrill rides. Ride all of 'em at least once on every trip. I've ridden every ride at WDW. There is nothing that I have not been on at least once.

With the exception of (Dragnet Theme plays) Summit Plummet.

I need YOU, my WDWMagic friends, to convince me to ride the darn thing.

My son loves it and says it would not be a problem at all for me. I've just got to get the nerve to do it. I'm in good shape, go to the gym every day, don't drink, don't smoke, I'll be 53 in March--but folks always tell me I look much younger. I would hate to get to the top of the ride then back out. I think it's become more or a mental thing than anything else.

I've got 91 days for you and for me to convince myself to do it.


(By the way, don't let the don't drink or smoke thing fool you. I'm really a fun guy.)

After Humunga Kowabunga tore me to shreds... I don't think I could EVER do SP! And I LOVE thrill rides!

Look at it from a financial standpoint.... A colonic will cost you anywhere from $50-$100 and you get one every time you go down Summit Plummet for only a $40 +/- admission. Go down that thing 5 or 6 times and you can save enough money to buy an AP. Not to mention you will be cleansed of all your toxins.

Of course it depends on the cut of the one piece, and the "status" of the in question...but in addition to crossing your legs, you fold your arms in front of your chest...so there is some general protection.
