For those of you that have new, ingenious, and unique contest ideas, please post them in here for all to see.

As usual..you read my mind MSU! I was thinking the other day that we need new contest ideas...

heres a few I was tossing around::

A contest where we all start with the SAME source images and have to make the best wallpaper using those..no other images allowed. A true test of creativity.

A contest where we alter an existing ride/pavillion and "change" it...like..add things..take things away...but that may be to difficult for some..

Disney Merchandice contest...where we create our own merch ;)


I got a few more i gotta remember...

Amen, Dan! Good ideas!

I'd also like to see something else that somebody mentioned in a different thread - a desktop theme contest, where you have to make a wallpaper and startup/shutdown sounds and icons and such, though that might be a little complex... Regardless, all these contests have been fun! :D

Maybe we could all create a site layout for my site? :P

Anyways...

I'd like to see an animated something... I know it may be hard for most people, but I'd like to see an advanced contest, to see what people here can do!

Maybe we could use Flash for it, for those who have it? And a seperate contest for animated gifs?

How about a "Fark" style thread. It doesn't have to be a contest per-say. Just that someone posts a standard pic and then everyone edits it there own unique way. Adding and subtracting things.

How about something on WDW evolution. You would have to incorporate the before and after of something or somethings from the world.

Wallpaper contest gone Trading Spaces style.

OK you get a list of all people oh want to participate in the contest and make pares of two. You would then get to pick one or two pictures of your choice on the topic of Disney you want, from there you make a bad poster and send it to the person you where pared up with. That person has to make it look better without taking any thing away, you can just add on. Yes I know it would be time consuming :hammer:!!! The time line could be one week to make the bad poster and two and a half weeks to make the poster you are given better.

Who determines if the first poster is really bad? Who decides who gets paired together? I want MSU or NowInc if I get to pick my partner. I'm sure either of those guys could turn my "bad" poster into something awesome.

That would be a good idea, but I don't have anything to make animated gifs or flash animations :(
I love Dan's idea about the same pictures, that would be fun! :D

Maybe we could make teams if we chose this idea?

I can do animations and games, etc.. on flash, but I'm not as good as I'd want to be with animations...

So, if we could enter as teams (or by ourselves, if we wanted), this idea may be a bit more accessable?

What about a contest for upcoming attractions like Everest or the Speedway? Since there is not much artwork out yet then it would be neat to see what original ideas people could come up with.
