Contemporary Resort or Polynesian Resort

I have been to Disney many times and have stayed at the Grand Floridian twice. I will be making a special trip, for me at least, in a few years and wanted to know your opinions of these resorts. I am going to stay at one of them but have heard mixed reviews. If you had to choose either the Contemporary or Polynesian, which one would you choose? I am going to get a theme park view room and have loved the views from the Grand Floridian. I have not stayed in either resort and would love to stay at one of them but cannot make up my mind. This is where you come in and can hopefully help me out. I searched the site for this subject and could not find it, so I apologize in advance if this has been posted somewhere on the site and I did not find it. Any help and comments would be greatly appreciated.

there are 6 of us going and we are staying at the Wilderness Lodge Villas in a 2 bedroom

One thing to keep in mind is that there is currently a lot of construction going on at the Poly to add Disney Vacation Club units to the resort. If you search this web site for "polynesian construction" it will show you pictures of the magnitude of the construction. If you're planning a trip before the construction is complete, take that into account. If your trip is after the construction is finished, I'm sure there will be lots of new comments and reviews of the upgraded resort to take into account at that time.

I think that the Poly has a great atmosphere and I'll go to the Luau every time I go to Disney, but my impression the last time I was there was that it was very crowed with kids and very noisy. That time we stayed at AKL and I was thankful for that. If you are attuned to the GF (I am not that grown up yet!!) I think you will be disappointed with Poly. I think Contemporary might be a better bet. JMO!!!
