According to this photo update, the Contempo Cafe is opening tomorrow (Saturday, November 15) at 6:00 AM.

The place looks pretty cool in those pics, and it uses the same touch screen technology that Captain Cook's uses at the Poly.

Definitely excited for this place to open, looks like it was executed really well. Can't wait to see the menu!

Or, should we say, they are using the same touch screen technology that Wawa (a super-premium convenience store in the Northeast) has been using for years, I say since at least 2001 when I started college. Which was lightyears ahead of Disney. COME ON DISNEY!! What happened to Bob Iger's technology intitatives!! Still no on-demand interface with guest room TVs?..which by the way JUST got HD programming.. via coaxial cable!! EHH!.. WIFI? Disney: "Whats WIFI?"

oh this company..

P.S. If you know Wawa, you know they use their touch screens much more efficiently than Captain Jacks. and the food at Wawa is better too.

Not old, just vintage.

Does no one else think it looks like Seasons at Epcot?

Wow, you just nailed that one. I kept thinking that it looked really familiar, but I just couldn't place it. Now, if the food is as good as Sunshine Seasons, we are going to be blessed indeed. :xmas:

Yes. The design to the color palette right down to the style of lighting remindes me of Sunshine Seasons over at Epcot. I must say, I find the seating area rather nice (love the Mickey chairs. :D). Hopefully the food is halfway decent; the menu has some interesting items on it.
