Construction walls up along Grand Avenue at Hollywood Studios. New snack stand coming?

Universal has recently been on a tear replacing some of their older snack stands with larger more convenient ones for both guests and employees.

When I saw this, I questioned if this is Disney possibly following suit and finally addressing some of the stands around their parks that are somewhat small and temporary? At MK for example, the eggroll stand is very temporary looking, why not build a more substantial one designed for the area? Same for the popcorn/ice-cream carts across the Tiki Room? They've been their for ages even though they are "temporary".

Yes
The Grand Avenue areas is so odd and it has become just generic urban themed for me.

Besides the interior of Muppet Vision itself, it feels like you could just be in Disney Springs.

Baseline Taphouse really has no connection to writing for the screen like it should.

Try as you may, you're not going to get the Writer's Stop resurrected even in homage form.

I lost hope when they renovated Rizzo’s and:

1. Added little to no muppet theming whatnsoever. Even some screens on the walls which showed Swedish Chef or rats making your pizza.

2. Did not improve on their gross food!
They have better pizza at Connections. Maybe one day it will spread? They actually roll out the dough there! It’s like 1991 Pizza Hut!

Hey Disney how about some new attractions that don't take 3 years to build. Guess that costs money snack stands are cheap to build and make plenty os $$$$$$$

I know everyone wants fully immersive and amazing dining experiences... However, in my recent experience, the parks also need more snack stands scattered throughout the park. We complain about ride capacity a lot on these forums... but quick food capacity also needs to be added. (this doesn't mean it needs to be bad food, just quick).

Moved the tangential discussion from another thread to here...

Near Pizza Rizzo is a Coke stand.

This is a Coke stand?

Maybe they'll tie it in with Muppet Labs featuring Bunsen and Beaker? Surely this thing is more than just Coke products? Themed Churros? The IP would pair well with the concoct your own beverage, Freestyle™ system.

UPDATE: Wait a min... This is the Test Track thread!?

They must have scrubbed it. I don't see it listed in that permit.

Two possibilities. Either that's what it was called previous (likely) or that's what it's to be and someone goofed by leaving it on there. I'm thinking it's the former. You don't construct a building for a coke kiosk, unless it's got that something extra. The whole project seems odd. I guess we'll know soon enough once the sign is installed.

Dang it! I did it again. Sorry Test Track threaderators.

Even if it's simple snacks, I hope at least this will be open by my trip, but I'll doubt it. It feels like too much stuff will be down for me

And sorry to derail the thread again but... I'd rather have some silly backstory that doesn't make full logical/realistic sense but is good enough (like the mummy studio in NY) over the whole "salt mine employee owned restaurant" oxcrap we're getting

Hopefully they have popcorn.

I tried getting popcorn before going into Muppet Vision, but there’s a huge popcorn void in the area. Closest stands as far as I know are hub or Galaxy’s edge which sells the novelty popcorn.
