I don't remember this at all the last few years.

Bunting looks a little cheap -- the only problem I have with it. Everything else looks pretty high quality to me.

3. Also is WDW making their halloween like DLR California? Because it seems like they are putting up more decorations this time then last year when i went.

This is actually the first year for nearly all of the Halloween decorations you are seeing. So no forehead slap is needed ;)

It may or may not be in response to the success DL had with decorating its park for the first time last year and seeing the guest reponse. The lamp post decorations in fact are very similar, but a slightly different mickey head mold was used for ours. The pumpkin people at Town Square are very cool and unique to the MK (I think...I haven't seen something similar from photo reports of DL, DLP or TDL before...but I don't know about HKDL which did something last year for Halloween akin to DL's decorations)

According to the Mickey Monitor, there will also be 4 status of characters at the castle hub. One of Mickey, Minnie, Pluto and Donald in Halloween costumes. Should be very neat.

I really, really like the decorations they have put up this year. I'm thrilled that the MK is upping the experience this year.

Wow, I am actually WAY excited about attending the Halloween Party this year now. Last time I went was 2004 (before HalloWishes) and it was, eh...

I don't see how MK's clearly increased decorations could NOT be the result of CA's huge success last year. We actually had short periods on a couple of Saturdays last year where we had to restrict entrance. But I do like it that MK's won't be a imaginative-less copy of ours. The pumpkin people are from Paris, certainly not Disneyland.

Offiically 14 days away now!! :-)

Welcome!

To make a new thread, you must be on that particular section's page (on the main forum site, you click on different headings, like "WDW Parks News and Rumors" or "WDW Trip Planning," etc). Once you get to that section's page (the one that has a list of all the threads in that forum section), there's a button near the top left of the screen that says "New Thread." Click it, type a subject, type your message, and post away!

I think I mentioned that Adventureland work is about putting in new 'designer' pavement. Basically a theme that fits Pirates.

Getting close --- to my 666th post! Save it for halloween?

Anywho . . .

Finally got around to a better quality version. Because the footage is long, I have to reduce file quality. Can only post widescreen @ 640 x 360 Sorry! 100 mb video file limits. Soooo 2002.
