I still doubt that info (that its been green lighted, and that for sure itll be "Reign of Fire"). If u look at the "Reign of Fire" sets at Disney Studios, although impressive, they do not fit in AT ALL with Animal Kingdom. I still think we're in for some sort of Dragon themed coaster or thrill ride ("Journey to the center of the earth"????).......But remember, according to the ORIGINAL plan, Beastlie Kingdomme would be a very medievel looking place, very similar in style to Lost Continent in Islands of Adventure, and very similar to most of DisneySeas.....I would expect probably the Dragon E-Ticket, some sort of D-Ticket unicorn ride, and maybe a hedge maze.....

PS, anyone know where i can find some of the original Animal Kingdom concept art, that had Beastlie Kingdomme in it. I know ive seen it before in books, but if anyone can post a link, that would be appreciated.

Can't forget the fantasia boat ride!
That would be the best! Boats like It's a small world..Get too see the ice fairies, the dancing mushrooms, the Firebird and nature girl, the flying whales, The pegasus...etc...

THAT would be a fun ride!

Yeah, Imagine floating into a foggy, blue, scene...The music starts..Whales suddenly emerge from the water around you and float up around your boat..Suddenly fiberoptic Stars light up, and you float along as they dance through the clouds....

When Beastly Kingdom is built, and they pave over whats left of cheap Camp Minnie-Mickey (maybe not, since everything temporary becomes permanent, but a guy can dream can he) I will walk down the pathway, fall on my hands and knees, praise the gods.

Imagineers seem pretty set on having the major e-ride for the land being based on dragons. Reign of Fire is not supposed to be at all like the movie it is based upon. They are simply borrowing the name (because it's an awesome name) and I would imagine the massive dragon will resember a character in Reign of Fire, the movie. No post-apocolyptic New York...it would be quite tacky to build anything like that post-September 11th...one of many reasons I feel this movie will not do well...given that a dragon is the center animal in the Animal Kingdom Logo, I can say with confidence that a dragon will run this land:)

I thought a Minotaur rollercoaster would be cool..Where you'r travelling through the maze, and you finally reach him. He'd be a big ol' AA with a Big ol' Club or Mace or Battle axe. Abnd he'd hit the coaster with it..(The track your coaster would be stopped on would be on hydrolics, so it would rock back and forth as he hits it..
Then, you'd be proppeled out with Linear Induction..(Like RnRC)

For the phoenix, I thought a ToT ride would be cool, where you go inside of a mountain, to find a Phoenix's quill, (becuase some greedy little gnomes want it, and they've built a funny contraption that takes you inside the mountain) you find it, but it awakens the phoenix, and the mountain turns into a volcano, which throws you up, you fall back, and then are thrown up again..then, you ride backwards while being chased by a huge AA Phoenix, and fall down another shaft, and end up back in the gnome's mine...

Those two E ticket rides along with the Fantasia boat ride, a Unicorn dark ride, and some sort of Hedge maze would make this the most AMAZING land disney had created...IMHO, anyways...
