Confused about CP package payment

So I understand that on Allears there are the different "tier" prices. However, when I called today they said I would need to provide payment at the restaurant and that the credit card info would only be charged if I was a no-show.

However, this now has me wondering...do all the people who book this package get charged the same(provided the same restaurant and lunch vs dinner) or does it change depending on what you order? Allears lists that it includes an appetizer, entree and dessert. Now, if it was based on what you order, I probably wouldn't get an appetizer...none of them are really my thing(I plan on asking if I can have a salad as an appetizer if it is included).

So my question is, does the candlelight processional package charge a fixed cost or does it vary depending on what you eat?

:veryconfu

As a side question, has anyone ever asked for a salad as a appetizer(or anything else)?

Your decision on what to eat has no bearing whatsoever on the cost. The cost is based upon which restaurant you eat at and whether you eat dinner or lunch.

I was told this morning (while booking my CP package) that it does not include an appetizer.

I was told the same thing, however the CM prefaced it with "Because you are on the dining plan, you get an entree and a desert."

So perhaps those not on the DDP still get the appetizer?

Cendure had it right as I understand it. Those using the DDP to "pay" for their CP package will get the entree, desert, and non-alcoholic beverage. Those paying the fixed price (nope, it doesn't change based on what you do or don't order unless you order an alcoholic beverage) will get the appetizer in addition to the entree, desert, and non-alcoholic beverage. The only variance in cost is what tier you book in and if you book lunch vs. dinner. Yep, the package has to be secured with a credit card but the card is not charged until the time of the meal. There is a 48 hour cancellation policy for the packages as well. If you try to cancel inside the 48 hours it's my understanding you'll be charged for it anyway.

I did just call and asked about this again and was told exactly this (we aren't on the DDP).
