I'm just glad I got to ride it 5ish times before it's getting closed down. I'm such a BTTF nerd and it was my favorite ride @ US. Sure MiB is fun, and ROTM is good for what it is, but BTTF is a much better property than both of those.

First attraction I can say I've been on, and will miss.

And because I have NO faith in a Simpsons replacement, I am very down on this replacement. I think ROTM is very overrated, but I think it was a very worthty replacement of a fan favorite.

I still have a very hard time thinking that the Simpson's will come to this ride. I know that all the rumors point to that, but I still think Universal creative isn't that uncreative to do that. I really believe they've got something big up their sleeves and this may just be another diversion like The Scorpion King rumor was to the Mummy.

I think Universal will get the Simpsons, but I think it'll go in place of Jimmy Neutron where it would fit perfectly. That's my dream at least and I'm holding onto it until there is some official announcement of what is coming there.

40 minute wait time this afternoon, but of course only one side was open. The third floor was actually open for the first time in a while though.

That's because people are starting to realize that it's on its way out.

It's a shame it takes the closure to get people in line.

Man, BTTF is closing? That stinks. I haven't been to Uni many times, three or four at the most, but I loved BttF. I thought it was one of Uni's rides that was just as good, if not better than a Disney ride. That, Jaws, and Kong. Classics. Very well themed, a great story, and Doc Brown! Correct me if I'm wrong, didn't have fake elevators kinda like the Living Seas? Man it was a great ride.

Also, while I don't remember how that area is themed, I think a Simpson's ride would be awesome. One of the best shows on TV. But I agree, it would fit better in the Hanna Barbara ride, which I guess is Jimmy Neutron now? Man why replace classic great characters from HB with crap like Jimmy Neutron...

Because comparing the popularity of HB with the popularity of NickToons to today's kids is like comparing the popularity of Rear Window to SAW.

And Jimmy Neutron is a great attraction. I actually prefer it to HB.

Yea I guess. Jimmy came about two years after I stopped watching Nick a lot(gotta watch Spongebob:lol: ). I don't know, most the new nicktoons pale in comparison to the old ones. Doug, Rugrats, AAAAH! Real Monsters, all great shows. Idn maybe it's because they showed HB cartoons on Cartoon Network back in the day, which I loved. It's ashame that some of these characters have fallen by the wayside. I mean I guess I understand why they would replace them, but it just ticks me off.

*End cartoon rant*

Anyway, yea it stinks that BTTF is closing. Hopefully some thing worthwhile takes its place. The Simpsons sounds cool, but not Fast and the Furious, please. I know street racing is "hip", and the first movie was decent, but the second two were aweful, and in my opinion don't warrant an attraction. I'd love to see a new Kong ride ala Mummy or Everest with a huge Kong AA. Even though I wasn't a huge fan of the movie, but War of the Worlds would be an amazing attraction.

Of course it's only open during the day, but it'll be real tough to see that when it's closed for good. :(
