Confessions Time !

ShookieJones

We need time for things to happen.
You kids know how to rope a gal in! Miss you all. @sgtmgd you are a funny one. I'll share flavored grass with you any day of the week but, can we add a splash of Grey Goose??
I've had some pretty good flavored grass in my day but it was never in a glass......oh wait..never mind...

My first step into Casey's was trip last year. Once I saw the fixing bar and then bit into that pulled porked dog I regretted the last few years of missing that place.

Updating, after having read the rest of the thread.

Items I have tried (that I hear as, "special WDW foods")

Dole Whip
MS Bakery Cinnimon Roll
Beverly
Beignets
School Bread
Grey Goose slush
Cream Cheese Pretzel
Casey's hot dog
Le Celliar Cheese Soup
Turkey Leg
Figaro Fries
Mickey ice cream bar
Popcorn
Lapu Lapu
Funnel Cake
Zebra Domes

Oddly enough, most (not all) of the above falls into the "eh, what was so great about that" category.

Items I have not tried.

Magic Cookie Bar

Here is my wacky confession. I have a serious sweet tooth in general, but the last 2 times I have gone have been in August and it is just too hot to eat much of anything. The only desert I had on my trip last week was a dole whip and when I was finished I thought I was going to be sick. I look at the photos here and read about all of these lovely cupcakes and cookies and I just cant eat them there. I would kill for one now since it is only 77 degrees here right now. I have also never had a Mickey ice cream bar. :arghh:

Because of this thread, I shall now always think of you as "real mad father hatter"...! :D ;) :)
I like it...True story time...Many years ago I was given a black nylon T- Shirt with a white V neck and collar. One day however,in a rush,I put it on back to front.( Hence the white V was on my back ) and I put on a black jacket on and walked down town. But when I was walking thro the shopping mall, every now and again,a wee woman would say to me " Good Morning Father "...This happened several times and it wasn't until I looked at my reflection on a shop window, did I realise what I had done..I looked like a Priest/Minister with the clergyman outfit..:joyfull:

...Good Morning..Relax,it's Mr Hatter here, not Father O'Reilly..Bet your glad @figmentfan423 ..(It's been a while since your last confession) Anyway today's food blog has a review of the new Double Chocolate funnel cake from American Pavilion at Epcot..:hungry:..It looks so yummy..Forget about the calories, get stuck in,that's what I say.But here's the thing..Sometimes I read on these food sites, people confessing they've yet to try a snack or treat that is a must at WDW.Example,it wasn't until my third visit that I tried my first Dole Whip, and my fourth visit until I tried my first Beignet.:jawdrop:..Shock! horror!..So today my confession is I've yet to try a funnel cake at Disney, but after reading today's review, this is now on my list..So children of of Disney..It's time to confess..What snack or treat have you yet to try at WDW.?

Dear Father Hatter, its been 2 weeks since my last confession. I confess...I have only ever tried one cupcake at WDW. Forgive me for I have sinned.

Seriously though, last trip in September when we ate around the world, I tried every snack that I had ever wanted. That same trip, planned a cupcake tour. But that didn't happen. I was stuffed...for days! :) So this next trip, post race so i've earned it, I will be on a cupcake tour to remedy this situation! :)

Ok- I have been trying to come up with things...here goes...

Forgive me Father Hatter...for I have never tried Tonga Toast. And while I'd really like some pastries in France and some candies in Germany, the lines are always so long that I always give up.

On a funny side note...I remember my first turkey leg. I was actually at MK on a 2nd date ... we shared it. Let's just say turkey legs and dates...at least early on...make for a very uncomfortable snacking experience.
