Hey,
We are looking to stay in the Contemp Concierge or the Poly Concierge for 4 days in Feb. I really like the Contemp, but I heard the tower club is a ripoff. Any tips? also anyone know if the Poly requires a key to get into the Concierge floor?

Thanks!

I think if you look at the monorail resorts thread, someone (probably Seano) has posted a link to the tikiman web site....it has lots of info on the Poly concierge service.

I couldn't find the post, but did go to the link earlier this week, and my recollection was that the concierge was in a separate building, with a key required for entry.

My wife and I have done the Contemporary Tower Club thing and we plan to do it again next May. It's not that much more expensive than a regular Tower room but it has a lot more perks.

You basically get a free breakfast every morning (ok..it's not REALLY free when you pay that much for a room..lol) The rooms used to have refrigerators in them but I heard now they don't. The afternoon snacks are nice also and remember...you are right in the main building with a Conceirge staff right there with you. That is very handy for making dinner reservations etc.

For a little more money, you can stay at the Poly Conceirge and you are guarenteed a great view. However, the rooms don't have balconies and that bothered me a little. Also, because the Conceirge rooms at the Poly are in a separate building, you have to walk back and forth to the Great Ceremonial house for shopping dining etc.

So..there are good points and bad points about both places...I guess you just have to weigh all the points and decide which best fits your needs

Actually, I just booked at the Contemp. Tower Club. It cost me $2400 with tickets. Do you get free refreshments throughout the day? Are the balconies actuallu bigger?

Thanks!

The balconies aren't bigger but the view is magnificent. We got free bottled water put in our refrigerater when we stayed there but like I said earlier, I think the free refrigerators in the rooms are no more. We did get a coffee pot and free coffee every day and the free Continental breakfast included milk and differant kinds of juices. The Fresh fruit every morning was wonderful as well. You also get Tower Club only access so no one else but Tower Club guests can access that floor. That keeps things pretty quiet and secure.
