Concerning Muppet*Vision 3D...

Not only is there a high chance of the show closing at California Adventure (thanks to Frozen) but I have heard a rumor of it also closing in WDW to make way for Star Wars Land. I am extremely worried about this, what do you think...?

There is already a 6 page, 104 post thread about this on here titled Save Muppet Vision 3D. And as I already said on that thread, it does not need saving. While there will be updates, it is not an attraction that is closing. I wish I could say how I know this with about 1000% certainty, but I can't at this time.

Meh, I'm not really a fan so they can take it away. I'd prefer for it all to be moved elsewhere in the park with an all new updated movie and perhaps make a little land out of it with another ride or something but a Muppetless WDW wouldn't bother me to be honest.

I personally don't think it is going anywhere at DCA since Aladdin is getting removed for Frozen and they don't need two Frozen shows so Muppets will be back and whether it is being removed at DHS is still unknown at this point.

Probably from the Muppet hating MagentaPanther, and if that's so, the info is entirely incorrect.

Actually, the last person to talk about the Muppets area going bye-bye was our own esteemed (and confirmed insider - by the way, who are YOU again?) PhotoDave219. Who said this:

Muppets is really 50/50 (but it's outlook is not good at all) ....

And this:

Well… I asked around.

I've got some really bad news.

It's not a matter of if? It's a matter of when.

And this:

I asked. I have not been able to get a definitive answer as to whether that is going to be Star Wars area or if it is something different.

Now I understand it's the Muppets. It's the last thing Jim Henson ever did. It touched millions of people's lives. I would like to see it live on somehow… But I don't think that's realistic or it's possible.

It's over 20 years old. If we must sacrifice it, so be it. It's time to move forward.

So why don't you stomp over his way and throw a hissy fit at HIM? :D

By the way, I'd avoid reading ratings news about the new Muppets show if I were you. I'm not sure your little heart could take it. :D :D

My heart is thrilled that the ratings for the new Muppets show have tanked. Because that show is complete and utter crap, an absolute disgrace. The sooner it is put out of its misery, the better.

However, the Muppets as they have always been are not. And there is still a lot of viable potential there.

As for Muppet*Vision 3D, I was at Hollywood Studios with my family last week, and it was crowded as always. I don't see it going anywhere. You can disagree (based on "insider info" even), but I won't believe it is closing until there is an official announcement from Disney.

Read the "what we know about DHS makeover" thread.

You are a real piece of work. "Who" I am can be found on my profile page. I'm not revealing my source for faceless trolls like yourself hiding behind little cartoon avatars. You are so unhealthily obsessed with the demise of the Muppets that it is bordering on insanity.
Why don't you find a new hobby? I hear knitting can be therapeutic.

Actually, despite what has been bandied about and the fact that the ratings have gone down, quite a few renew/cancel prediction sites have it listed as likely to be renewed.

It is far from crap, my DW and DS both love the new show, as do I.

they have made investments in the new movies and TV show, I would think an update and maybe new location. Some new 3D/4D and new story line would do it. I doubt its gone forever.
