Concepts For New Fully-Themed Experiences

With SW:GE nearing it's completion, (and the announcement of a conjoining fully-themed hotel) it got me thinking about the future of themed entertainment, and how other venues in the future could utilize this same (or similar) formula. That got me thinking: What would be some IPs or original ideas that would blend well into these fully-themed experiences?

Monster's inc.
I really want a monster's inc land.
Also roger rabbit's variation of toontown, the actual theme park version of toontown is not even close.

The Monster's Inc. land would be amazing. Could split the park into two sections. 1. The actual Monster's Inc. company. They could add the famed door coaster finally. 2. Monster's University. We could see an imagination of the frat house area along. They could make a pretty awesome ride based on the scare games as well.

Just my 0.02.

Lord of the Rings is probably the most obvious untapped IP for world building that has the same following as potter or Star Wars. Perhaps Looney Tunes too.

As far as what Id actually like to see: Indiana Jones is the most appealing IP I can think of for an entire land.

I'd love to see the Indiana Jones ride at Disneyland locally, perhaps next to the Indy stunt show, to make a mini-land.

They are going to do Void-like VR experiences with the Marvel characters. You could re-spin it for whatever movie is hottest right now. Earlier in the year, fighting Killmonger in Wakanda. Now, battling Thanos - maybe still in Wakanda. I'm not sure if the price for the Void experience at DS is making money, or what the price point could get up to and still stay busy. The ability to reconfigure the space to make new experiences will make it something that people will come back to do multiple times.

A villain/dark kingdom themed area would be popular. I know lots of people would love it to be a whole park (I am one of them) but if not a whole park, then maybe just a land. There are tons of rides and attractions, treats, restaurants, etc., you could do with all the different villains, as well as meet and greets with Maleficent and the Evil Queen would be very popular for all the villain fans out there.

Many of the ideas are great but I think Disney has missed a huge opportunity. Star Wars should have been the fifth gate. Multiple resorts (themed around different planets) along with plenty of different rides nd attractions. There is no bigger brand in the big screen than the one they just purchased. They should have built a land on DHS around many of the animated movies that were more popular (toy story, cars, nightmare before Christmas and others). Epcot should stay all original material

I'd build a park dedicated to the Golden Girls. A magnificent, enormous recreation of the house as the centerpiece and lands dedicated to various locales from the series. St. Olaf, with a herring circus and daily Butter Queen contest. A buggy ride through Atlanta past all the places Blanche claims to have... had boyfriends. Brooklyn and Sicily, with a special photopass location... "Picture it, Sicily, 2018!" The Escape from Shady Pines coaster. The "Let's Look at Photo Albums" mountain (a slow moving ride through Bea Arthur's old photos). The San Gennaro Festival which can be held year-round (Look out, Disney, a year-round food festival... get on it). Oh, and don't forget the Go Carts with phone books on the seats, so you can see. Mrs. Claxton's Treehouse. The Hunka-Hunka Burning Love Buffet (half eaten porkchops are the house speciality). The "Who Wants to Grab That Dough" game show -- where the prizes are canned soup. The Cheesecake Canteen, obviously.

A nightly fireworks show, "Henny Penny's Sky is Falling Spectacular" and daytime parade: "The Lebanese Luau."

And of course, have an adjacent hotel themed to the murder mystery house in "The Case of the Libertine Bell". A nightly murder, fabulous meals, and Haunted Mansion-esque charm. And Disney's first nudist hotel where guests "dress for dinner."
That was the best post I've ever read on here! And you forgot the character dining at Mr. Ha-Ha's Hotdog Hacienda!

I love it! Let's see, and ...

The Rusty Anchor Bar and Grill featuring the song-stylings of Harvey Wallbanger
Sophia's Bacon, Lettuce, and Potato Stand
Baby and Count Bessie Children's Zoo
An After-Hours Dessert Event, "The Moonlight Madness Party", with all-you-can-eat cheese balls
The Golden Palace Wedding Chapel will host Blowgun Weddings
Pop! The Picnic Balloons Adventure
Sperhooven Krispie Viking Cruise. A tasty ride through stinky territory. Come aboard as Vikings pillage and plunder but make time for their favorite midnight snack.
Blanche's McKinley Lighthouse Candy Shop
Jeremy Midway Mania: a thrilling 3-D interactive adventure. Throw nerf balls, cheesecake, linguine, genrkenflurken cake, and lemonade at Jeremy and save Becky!
Superstar Nest: A slow-moving drag through a house filled with characters no one cares about. Featuring narration by Rita Moreno

The fact you were so specific with all of these ❤️

But don't forget storytime with Rose. My personally favorite being the time St. Olaf's most active volcano threatened to erupt.

They could have Stan as the villainous character of the land with two versions...with toupee and without.

Something I would love to see some park do that would be amazing. A black and white land.. so it would be Oswald old mickey all the old characters but everything... and I mean everything minus the guests would be black and white.. the path the trees EVERYTHING.. I just think it would make for an amazing experience... maybe a kingdom of hearts ride, a steamboat willy ride..
it would be surreal and be very talked about
